These shoes are absolutely beautiful and look great on the foot. Surprisingly graceful considering the chunky wooden heel. I wear a size 9 and usually buy 9.5 in Michael Kors shoes; however, I bought a 9 in the Java. I probably should have ordered the 9.5, just because my foot sits right at the edges of the shoe at both the toe and heel. Haven't worn them out of the house yet, but in my experience, Michael Kors shoes are very comfortable so I anticipate no problems.

The Good News: Amazingly beautiful... chunky and architectural while still sleek and feminine. Also quite versatile. I ordered the brown leather which is lighter than the photo shows. My legs looked miles long (I'm 5'4"). The Bad News: I found the wooden sole to be very uncomfortable and difficult to walk in. I made loud clunking noises all through my house. Since it is impossible to break in a wooden shoe they are going back.

The perfect shoe...
The moment I saw this shoe, I knew we had to be together. It is everything I love about my other favorite shoes (Chinese Laundry leopard print pony hair peek-a-boo sling backs with a chunky wooden platform heel) but even more versatile. The first time I tried them on, they felt like they had been made just for me. Beautiful design, completely comfortable, perfect fit. Its love, love, love in a shoe.
