I just got these today. Very cute, beautiful soft leather, but I couldn't get them on & off without untying the 'string' which I found kind of frustrating. I think keeping that string tied & looking neat would be too much pain so I'm sending them back. Otherwise, very cute boots. Fit great, not too tight or too loose in the calf.

Cute boots! A little large in the toe area, but fits fine otherwise. When I walk, the leather is stiff and seems like it's taking forever to break them in. Still love them with jeans tucked in!

 |  | I want to tell you a story. I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
