I took a chance on these, after reading the previous review about the brown. I got the gray. They are fabulous. Very well made, comfortable, look expensive. They are absolutely worth the price. The ankle opening isn\'t huge, like some ankle boots. It is nice and slimming. I am very happy with these! I usually wear a 6.5 or 7. I got the 6.5. They fit just fine. Thank you, Zappos!\r\n

Disappointed -
This is a review for the brown crinkled leather, so the other leathers may be different. I was really disappointed with this boot. The quality did not meet my expectations for the price. Although the upper is lined with a cushion-y fabric, is adhered very poorly and comes away from the leather. Same goes for the leather lining on the footbed, it also had peeled away from the side making a bubble under my foot. The zipper is covered with more leather, but does not lay flat, which looks worse than if the zipper was just left exposed. Plus, the ankle opening was too wide for me and the toe is a clunky unflattering shape. Definitely returning these.
