The Miura VS is by far the best all-around climbing shoe for the intermediate advanced climber that I have been able to find. It climbs almost anything and performs extremely well whether edging or smearing. I have 2 pair, one for short difficult sport routes; and another, more comfortable pair for longer, multi-pitch trad routes. I\'ve tried other shoes, including other La Sportiva models, but none had the performance and versatility of the Miura.

These shoes are amazing! They handle vertical and technical equally as well as the steep. They point better than any shoe I've worn (climbing 18 years) and edge great. The only complaint that I have is that La Sportiva has chosen a low quality velcro. Many of the VS owners that I know can no longer velcro their shoes tight enough without them blowing open. Hopefully LS will resolve this issue or it will be a perfect shoe ruined by a simple mistake.

Miura VS -
The Miura VS is my favorite pair of climbing shoes I've ever climbed in. The heel hook is amazing and I have not had a single complaint about the shoe yet. And the fact is, if your foot gets too hot, you can unvelcro them but the tongue keeps your foot in the shoe as long as you don't heel hook. GREAT SHOES!!
