I bought these cute Aioli's in brown, in a half-size smaller as everyone recommended. They were great in the length but quite cramped in the toe-bed, so I reordered my regular size 7 1/2. They feel much more comfortable. Yes, the shoe slips off my heel now, but it is easily corrected with an adhesive pad on the inside heel. So.... order a size smaller if your feet are narrow, but go for your regular size if your feet are medium or wide width.

A Velcro Disaster -
The reason for the 1-star ratings is simply this: the Velcro straps are not long enough to go across the shoe and attach properly. They barely go over the tongue of the shoe and don't match up to the Velcro pads on the other side. There is no flexibility or adjustment. I have a fairly normal though wide foot (I ordered the maximum 4E width) and have never had problems of this nature. This is either bad shoe engineering or the shoes I received had imperfect short straps. I had high hopes because of the ASICS reputation, but can't recommend this shoe because of this problem. The shoes are of no value if they can't be held on to your feet.

Velcro Walking Shoes -
I like these shoes since I have some trouble with a prosthetic knee, bending the knee to tie shoes. The velcro makes for easier on/off. The shoes fit me loosely, more loose than the tie shoes I normally wear.
