I needed breathable, supportive day hikers for a 3-week trip to the Brazilian Pantanal and Amazon. I wore these shoes 14 hours a day from day one with no break in period and loved them! They did their job in both 100 heat and walking through a foot of water. I choose Salomon for the wide toe box. I have a problem with most shoes rubbing on my little toes or turning them under. No problem with these shoes. There are two caveats. The insoles that they come with don\'t work for me. I replaced them with Super Feet--a great insole! Second, to get a secure fit, you have to tie the laces tight. However, even when the laces are tight, they are still comfortable, even more comfortable than when they are loose. But if you like loose laces, you probably shouldn\'t get these. Oh, yeah--and they are cute! Bottom line, I recommend them!

I LOVE THIS SHOE!! After buying and returning about 20 shoes to Zappos, I finally found THE ONE pair that fit me right. I have long and narrow feet so some of the insoles of other shoes just pushed in the wrong places...but these were perfect! I wore them on a 2 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia. We did A LOT of walking and my feet were very comfortable. It's also a very cute shoe that matches pretty much anything you wear. Thanks Zappos for giving me the opportunity to find this shoe!
