I love these shoes, but can't give 5 stars. The front strap, although it is beautiful, is too far forward. I don't have wide feet, but my bone falls off the shoe since I believe the strap should be covering it, rather than so far in front. The buckles make noise when I walk, sounds like a dog collar. I think they are lovely and pretty comfortable, but one night out (only walked to and from the car and sat the rest of the time), and my feet hurt. The price has already gone down since I bought them and I am seriously debating returning them or keeping them and asking for some money back (price guarantee style). Can't decide. Beauty or comfort? Such a choice.

This is a stunning sandal. I have had people come up to me who I don't know and make remarks about them. Gives you a lot of height without a lot of foot strain. The buckle on top of the strap is really eye catching; however, it contributes to these not getting five stars for comfort. The straps are a coated twill, which stays nice and clean and doesn't scuff. However, they don't stretch. Still, for the style and impact, these are great and I wear them regularly. They are so not a "basic white sandal". I feel I'm wearing a fashion statement whenever I put them on.

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous. They make you tall, but you're not walking around on your toes. They are modern, but a bit retro. The buckle on top of the toe is what looks so cool. The white material is interesting, kind of a coated fabric that actually stays whiter and cleaner than leather, but is very lightweight. However, I do not give these the highest marks for comfort, only because the fabric doesn't stretch like leather and the front buckle is not adjustable. They are comfortable "enough" for me to wear them often, but I wouldn't wear them for active walking, e.g. walked from Lincoln Center to Times Square the other night about 20 blocks or so. Not good.

As most of SW's shoes, very elegant, very good quality, and as comfortable as shoes of this height can be. I have not worn them for long walks yet, but so far no blister or pain... I am not disappointed at all versus the fact they are kind of pricey.
