Disclaimer: I didn\'t buy these shoes from Zappos.\r\n\r\nThe pair I bought a year ago has fallen apart with the sole literally falling apart. Here in Jamaica we have to get our shoes from overseas, and it\'s quite hard to return shoes, so I have had to resort to glue on both shoes, about 4 times. I have never had this problem with this brand before and this is my 5th Asics Cumulus

Like running on a cloud -
I’m a once to twice a week runner 1-3 miles each run. The knee pain I was experiencing I thought was from getting older. My first run in the new Cumulus 10s my knees hurt for the first mile or so then the pain was gone. On my two runs since then, I’ve had no knee pain. It feels like I’m running on a cloud. In part it could be due to the fact that my previous Cumulus pair is 8 years old and the cushioning is gone. I wear a 10.5 to 11 depending on the shoe. I had to get an 11 in the Cumulus. I have a slightly wide foot (1E) but the D size of the Cumulus 10 fits great. Toe box is just roomy enough with no pinching of the toes. I was torn between the Nimbus and the Cumulus, so I tried them one on each foot and did a short jog in the store. Though I preferred the color scheme of the Nimbus, I went for slightly better comfort of the Cumulus. Heal cushioning is awesome and the forefoot is pretty darn good also. They seem lighter than my 8-year-old Cumulus pair. My running style is normal, maybe with a slight underpronation, and these shoes seems to work for that.

Fits Smaller Than Expected -
I just received these shoes and had to return them. At a minimum, I need to move up a half size. My toes were uncomfortably cramped at the end.

They run very small -
I wear a 9.5 EE; I had to go up to a size 11 to get these to fit. My toes almost come to the end of the shoe even with an 11. Just about every shoe and boot I wear is a 9.5 or a 10. I've never had to go up to size 11 before. Still pretty narrow in the toe box too. Impossible to run in, which is what I bought them for. I should have just returned these. Too late now. Everyone said try out Asics they make great running shoes, so I did. I tried the Gel Nimbus 9's and these, the Gel Cumulus 10's. Guess I'll go back to New Balance.
Zappos was great with all the returns and quick delivery.

Great every time...
This is the best running/working shoe on the market, hands down. I'm on my feet 10 hours a day and always on the move. Great arch support. I thought I'd get cute and try the Eccos RXP...Terrible shoe for much more with zero arch support.

Gel-Cumulus 10 -
I have a 4E wide foot, and I use orthotics. I run on an old rail trail that's been modified into a bike path. I was running with the Gel-Cumulus 9, but my size was out at the time, so I went with the Gel-Cumulus 10. I can't really tell the difference between the two. They both work really well for me. This is my 3rd pair and I would recommend them to a friend.

Great running shoe -
Great shoe, comfortable all around. Light, supportive, and good shock absorption. Design on outside caused a hot-spot for me just above my arches. Relacing with a skipped hole solved the problem.

My first Asics -
I'm not a runner - I use this shoe in the gym for my aerobics workouts - primarily on a treadmill or cross-trainer.
Originally, just a hair tighter than the Nike or New Balance I'm used to, but it's not enough to make them uncomfortable. I'm a little concerned about the outside mesh being a little too open, and worry that it might not hold up over time - I'd like to see it a little tighter. I'd be way more concerned if I was using this as a runner for the outdoors. Excellent heel support and cushioning.

Great shoe (for me)
This is a fantastic shoe. I had a previous version (7 or 8?) and loved it. For some reason the last time I went for new running shoes, I bought whatever Asics were on sale and they were obviously not right for me--they felt fine in the store but terrible for running. I would recommend the Gel Cumulus highly, but go to a specialty running shoe store first to determine if it’s the right shoe for you (i.e. if you over or under pronate, if you have high or flat arches, etc.). I will definitely buy this shoe again, and most definitely from Zappos--they shipped my order super fast (regular shipping and I had them in hand in 2 days).

Good running shoe for big guys -
My old shoes were New Balance and they lasted awhile and accommodated my wide foot. I researched Brooks, New Balance, and ASICS, and picked the Gel-Cumulus 10. I was looking for the best cushioning shoe and this certainly fits the bill. It is also very wide which is good since I am over 250 lbs. When I run in the shoe, sometimes I feel my foot leaning out a bit to the side, but it's more my running stride than the shoe. The support is good and I have 30 miles on these so far and they are holding up great. On top of the fit, they look great, too. If you are big like me, you may want to consider a shoe that has more width support to avoid the feeling like your foot is slipping out on the side. Even so, I like them.

Great Shoe - Great Fit -
I am an underpronator (walk and run on the outside of my feet) so I need a good cushioned shoe. On top of that, I have a relatively wide foot, so I can’t wear Nike. 14D was still a perfect fit in Asics, I don’t know why I ever bought anything else.

Solid Training Shoe -
This has been my trainer for about the last 6 pairs. I've tried most brands and go through a lot of running shoes each year. I used this model to train for Ironman Hawaii this year. Great shoe, good cushion, looks are ok, but that really doesn't matter to me. I can typically get about 300 or so miles out of them.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Asics Speedstar for racing.

A great all-around insole. Best blend of comfort and support that I’ve found. Nice and stiff cap on the bottom with enough cushion on the top layer. The arch isn’t as high as some other orthotics, but it seems like I have less problems with these than anything else. The heel support is better than any other insoles. These have greatly improved my alignment and balance. Worth the money. Try them.

ASICS Gel-Cumulus 10 -
I am usually biased towards New Balance, but decided to give Asics a try as I heard they were a great running shoe. These fit true to form, and are very light. The upper mesh contours to the shape of your foot (which is nice because I have a wide foot), and lets your feet breathe. These shoes are extremely comfortable, and I hope they last as long as my New Balance.

They're Back!!!!
My shoe is back! The 10’s have a wide toe box and support your heel to keep it for slipping. The minimal material across the top doesn't create any pressure points on the tops of your feet.

Triathlon Guy...
I have worn Asics for 10 years straight now. Tried others off and on, but I keep coming back to the Cumulus shoes. I train and race in them! I'll keep using them! If I had to say one potential improvement... They tend to fill up with sweat after about 10 to 14 miles (depending on the weather)... So, I wish they had some drains in them (LOL)...

Breathable, light and great support. It's a quality shoe at a decent price. I'm more of a recreational runner. I use this shoe for daily runs of about 3 - 5 miles.

Good shoe for wide feet -
I needed a wide running/walking shoe and this one fits great. I needed a 7.5/4E - Extra Wide which is not easy to find. I'm a normal size woman, but I inherited my dad's feet :) Fast service. I did a half-marathon in these shoes yesterday. Got one small blister on the inside right heel, but otherwise fine.

Still a great sneaker through revisions -
I have owned the GC8, GC9, and GC10 in this series - they do seem to get better each time, although this one and the 9 seem pretty close so far. I have high weak arches and need cushion due to under pronation & inefficient steps. These solve all of those problems - once I take out the insoles.(you could fit your own orthotic in there or just go without because they’re super soft under the insole.) If you walk like I do then you will love em.

 |  | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family!
