Best running shoes I've ever owned. I've been wearing Asics Gel Evolution since they were first introduced. I have very flat, long feet and severely overpronate. After wearing the wrong type of shoes for several years, I was left with pretty bad runner's knee. These shoes helped so much, and even accommodate my orthotics. They wear out quicker than I'd like, but I still go back to them. The best running shoes ever for gals with flat feet.

A decent shoe -
I just started my running program after some years. I wanted a shoe that I was going to get the most benefit from. So I did my research and saw that these shoes were highly rated. I wear a 12 wide. The toe bed is roomy and has a firm fit around my heel. It feels a little tight by the middle of my foot, but right now I'm still breaking into my shoes.

The Best Ever -
I have big hard-to-fit feet and wear orthotics for over-pronation. They replace the Gel-Evolution 3 which never fit right: the 10 1/2 was too short and the 11 was too long, but these 10 1/2 Gel-Evolution 4 fit perfectly and felt wonderful the first time I wore them. I did 4 miles on the treadmill the first day. Great shoes. I wish Asics would just keep making these forever. I bought 3 pairs at once because I know they'll discontinue them just when I want to buy a new pair.

ASICS Gel Evolution Shoe -
I had problems with pronation, and a professional fitted me with this shoe six months ago. I have worn them out and needed a new pair. The shoe fits like a glove, is lightweight, and is extremely comfortable. Apparently, I was not wearing the right size shoe prior to being fitted.

I like the shoe and it has helped correct my pronation and stop pain. However, I would like it better if it was a little lighter weight.

99.9% Happy -
I did a lot of research on running shoes because I kept buying them and having to add arch supports etc. The ASICS say they were made for this condition and I would have to say that they are correct. They are comfortable and I have not had to add any support. I would warn everyone though, DEFINITELY order a 1/2 size bigger and you definitely have to break them in for a couple of runs before they are actually comfortable.

I have worn Evolutions for my last 3 pr of running sneakers. Was advised to wear them by a physical therapist who evaluated by running stride. I have never been disappointed with them. Thanks

I am completely flat footed and this is a great shoe to accommodate my feet. Very roomy in the toe and cushions entire foot.

Usually my size 13 running shoes look like gun boats. These shoes look shorter on my feet which I really like. Most of all I like how comfortable and light they are when power walking.

Great Running Shoe -
My daughter is a cross country runner who has had knee surgery. While running in other brands, she suffered shin splints and a stress fracture. Since she has been running in Asics Gel-Evolutions, her orthotics fit with no problem. She has had no problems and runs with no pain. Zappos has been great for buying the sneakers, she is a 9 and a half - which is a very hard size to buy in stores… they always have to be special ordered. Since ordering from Zappos I can order them at 5:00pm and have them the next morning for her. You guys are GREAT!!!

Great running shoe with minimal breaking in needed. Husband got the same pair for running and he loves them too. A little stiff around top of foot but gets a lot better once broken in with a few runs. Overall great!

Good for narrow feet -
I have narrow feet and this shoe fits snug. It has great support and you can feel it gripping your ankles. My only complaint is the partial faux leather design on the inner face of the shoes - it looks cheap.

Almost perfect - The shoes are deep enough to support orthotics. They are structured and have great arch support. But, they are stiff, which I hope will relax as I wear them in. That and they feel a little small are the things that keep me from giving 5 stars.

Extremely pleased - I have a need for a shoe that is a good match for my orthotics and this shoe works very well for my needs. This is actually the second pair that I have purchased of the exact same shoe and hope that they are still available when I need another pair.

I really wanted these shoes to work but they just didn't do the trick for me. I used them once and got blisters all over my right heel. OUCH!

Worst Asics shoe ever.
I had a pair of the old Gel-Evolution (maybe the 3) a few years ago and thought it was a decent shoe for my flat feet. The latest version of the Evolution is terrible. I got the wide in half a size larger than my normal size and it was so tight that my feet hurt for days. Terrible shoe.
