A little stiff at first, but great after two weeks. I wear a 6 and these fit more like a 6 1/2. Bought inserts for them and all is good. Love them! Jeans don't drag the ground any more.

I\'m a teacher and on my feet all day. These shoes are extremely comfortable. I wear thicker socks with them. I\'m usually a women\'s 10, and did not have any trouble with the UK 8 size. I got a pair in black, loved them so much that I bought the tan. I also like their sturdiness, my feet won\'t get wet in a little bit of snow or cold rain.

These shoes are fantastic! They were perfectly sized (7) and required no breaking in period. The first time I put them on they were comfortable. Love them!

These shoes are relatively comfy. I love that they can be slipped on rather than having to be tied. Great for casual or going out. Love the tan color. I have had these for a year and they still look great. I did get the Dr. Marten balm, which cleans them up nicely and makes them look new again! I would order another pair of these in a heartbeat.

The shoe is a strange fit. Since there are no 1/2 sizes I ordered a size 5 uk, but that pair was too small. I then ordered a size 6 uk and this size fits much better, but is a bit too roomy. I ordered these shoes because I am in the restaurant industry and I wanted something comfortable and durable.\r\nI would only order these shoes if you are closer to a whole size.\r\nThey are sharp and funky.

These shoes are pretty great. I like the fact that they have a decent sized heel, so I get an extra inch or so in height when I wear them. They are, however, rather heavy and chunky, so I get a bit of a workout when I wear them. They do run a little large.

Just received this shoe (with amazing shipping speed), but unfortunately I have to return them. I did not find this shoe true to size. I wear a size 9, but this shoe seemed more like an 8 1/2. My toes touched the end too much, but width was great. Also the shoe felt very rigid/stiff.

This shoe is so comfortable; it's sturdy on the outside and slipper-like on the inside. I wear a 7.5, but this is only offered in whole sizes so I ordered up to a size 8 and it's perfect because I don't like my shoes too tight and there will plenty of room for a comfy warm sock come winter. In the meantime I've been wearing them without socks (that's how comfortable they are!). I'll probably buy additional pairs. Plus I ordered them one day and had em on my feet by the time I got home from work the next day, which was fabulous! I've been bragging about Zappos to everyone I know and spreading the word about how great their service is.

How long owned: 3 weeks. I bought these shoes for casual wear, but have been wearing them as work shoes every day. At first I was afraid the Doc Martens style was too clunky for business attire (for women), but I don't wear dresses to work and the comfort has changed my mind about what's important. The monk strap allows for movement at the top of the shoe (Doc Marten 3989 I sent back because it felt constricting on top of the foot). The sole is comfortable and it gives me a little height (I'm usually 5' 1"). They are trendy, comfy, and seem to be well made. Most leather shoes are stiff on the feet and take a while to break in. These feel broken in already. I have an 'average' foot, though I sometimes buy 'wide' shoes. The square toe is comfortable and looks better than a rounded toe in my opinion. I will buy this style again. I love these shoes!

I really like theses shoes. My only complaint is that I wish they came in half sizes. I bought one pair and found them a little too small, so I had to exchange them for the next size up. They fill a little big, but work.

This is a great shoe. It may take a couple of days to "break in" but after that it’s extremely comfortable. I went back and ordered the same shoe in black!

Dr Marten came through again with the monk strap shoe. The shoes are so comfortable and very easy to walk in even with a 1 1/4" heel! I've gotten compliments that range from "those are cute" to "where can I get those?"

When I first got them, they felt a little small, but that's because they don’t come in my much needed half size - BUT - after wearing them for two days, they stretched a bit so that I can't even tell that they were a little snug when I first got them anymore. Aside from that - I absolutely love this shoe! It's way cute with jeans and soo comfortable. I haven't bought Doc's in a while, but these were definitely money well spent.

Love them!
These look so great w/ a good pair of jeans. More feminine I think than some of the lace up Docs. These are so cute and comfortable. I usually can wear either a 6.5 or 7. Since these don't run in 1/2 sizes, I ordered the UK5 (US size 7) and they fit good.

Docs always run one size to big. I'm normally a 7 in all other shoes but a 6 in docs. They were a little tight when I first put them on but within a few times wearing them they fit perfect!! Love them, cute and comfy. Defiantly recommend.

I love these shoes!!!!! They're very comfortable but I did need to put an insole in them to make them fit better. This might not be the case for everyone though.

Funky and fun Docs...
Even though I am a middle aged person (how did that happen so fast?!). I love wearing this slightly funky, fun and very comfortable shoe. I seem to wear it quite a lot even though I have scads of shoes in my closet. It looks great with jeans and is very comfy for lots of walking. I'm very glad I got them from Zappos, my fave shoe store!

I really like mine. Really comfy and very stylish. The only downside is it's a little wide depending on my sock thickness.
