Yes, the description says Patent, but I was surprised how shiny these were when they arrived. I considered returning them, but once I tried them I decided I had to keep them. They're comfortable. I'm not a heels kind of girl, so I enjoy being able to get some height without killing my feet. True to size in my opinion. I won't be wearing these at work like I planned, but they look great with leggings, long slim jeans, and dresses. These would NOT be a good shoe if your feet are wide.

A staple in my shoe wardrobe -
I bought these to wear to a bridal brunch with a very "springy" floral dress, and they were perfect! I got the white pair, and they are very cute, the pointy toe is sweet and the kitten heel and rubber bottom make it a very comfy shoe. I would recommend breaking them in a bit, as they're a little stiff at first. The crinkly patent is classy and easy to wipe scuff marks from. A great spring shoe.

Just what you hope for -
I had seen these in person in black and was drawn to their pretty little silhouette. I'm normally a 4" heel or super-flat type of girl, but I'm also a sucker for anything that reminds me of Audrey Hepburn and these are just perfectly cut -- not "retro", but authentic. I would have been happy with them in black but I couldn't resist the purple, which are so dark they look black until the hit the light. Gorgeous!

Adorable shoe -
This shoe reminds me of 50's shoes that were worn with the poodle dresses. Anyway! This shoe is super cute, as always Zappos came through with the amazing shipping- Speedy-Gonzales! the only reason I didn't give the shoe 5 stars on comfort was due to the fact that it hurt the side of my foot- leather is a bit stiff- but overall very comfortable, needs very little breaking in, so far only wore them out 1X.

I love it!!!
These shoes are so cute on. I bought them to wear with my wedding dress, and now my sisters are wanting them. I was over the satin ones and these will look awesome with jeans or other dresses I have, and they are so comfortable!!!! I really liked that they have more of a sole than other dress shoes so you don't slip in them. I am also 5’9” so I needed a smaller heel but not too small, and these are perfect. Thanks Zappos!!!

Classy and Sophisticated -
Being the first review let me say that these do run very true to size and are very comfortable! I ordered the white and am very pleased! I had been looking for an 80's style white pump for months now and these are perfect...They are very classic yet well updated. The patent is not too glossy either, as I was afraid of the cheap glossy look but it works very well. The leather is slightly crinkly but it looks fine it gives it more character. Also they are not a long pointed toe but a nice short and sweet point. The heel height is perfect as well, very classy not trashy. I would hope to buy a different color of these in the future. Oh and very slight toe cleavage, not much but my toes are not long just average. Wonderful shoe, now I’m afraid of getting them dirty!
