These are my favorite shoes ever! They are soooo comfortable and stylish and I get asked where I bought them *every* time I wear them. Seriously, I\'m not joking. I\'m buying another pair in black. They go with everything and I can wear them all day.

Cute and comfy but BEWARE! Those cute little dots on the bottom are dangerous on even a slightly damp surface. \r\nI slipped and fell and cracked my tailbone. I\'m not accident prone, this was all shoes!\r\nI\'ve worn the shoes since but I hear the theme to the movies JAWS playing in my head. When I wear them, I avoid any tile surface. If the sole were redesigned, they\'d be perfect.\r\n\r\n

I have the Born Sokal in black and I just ordered the burgundy. The mary jane style is very cute and comfortable. The patent leather is very different because it has an unusual shine. Very stylish, and I highly recommend this shoe. I always get compliments on how cute the shoes are on my feet.

Definitely cute on. I wondered if the elastic "drawstring"-type design would be uncomfortable, but it wasn't. However, the toe box is too narrow, even for my narrow foot. The patent isn't very forgiving, as would be expected. Shoe runs short.

Cool shoes, but needs a larger size if you have a bunion -
I bought a pair of the black patent leather shoes and the tan color in size 8, which is the size I normally buy, however, wearing the black patent leather ones, my feet hurt so bad, I had to take the shoes off and walk back to the car. I returned both pairs of shoes and bought only the black patent leather in a size 8.5. Remarkably, my feet did not hurt. The tan color of this style looks better on your feet, but the color is rather ugly. However, the black patent leather looks great both on my feet and in the box. These shoes hugged my feet and as long as my bunions had room, it was a comfortable shoe and looked very stylish.

Shoes are super cute, comfortable, and very well made. Shoes fit true to size as I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 and they fit great!

Comfortable dress shoe -
I normally wear a size 7, but I needed to go up to a 7.5 in this shoe, and I wouldn't mind if it stretched a tad yet in the toe box (but then I do have bunions). I spent a lot of hours wearing them the past two weeks, and found them quite comfortable for a patent dress shoe. Their looks were approved by my style conscious pre-teen daughter.

Great if you don't have a high arch - These are darling, delicate, and dreamy looking! Very well made, cushiony too. However, I realized my high arch made the strap really uncomfortable. I think if you don't have high arches, these will make you feel like you are walking on air. I also have long toes and they didn't feel smushed in here.

Photo doesn't do shoe justice - After trying several styles for my daughter’s hard to fit feet, these won in terms of look and comfort. The color and material is very unusual as well as beautiful. There will be a break in time, but the shoes seem worth it. Thank you Zappos! We live on an island and your service is remarkable.

I bought the Sokal in taupe and I love them! They will be cute and casual with jeans or will pair nicely with office wear. They are shiny patent leather, which doesn't really show in the picture. I think it makes them more interesting. They have a very well-made footbed.

I tried this shoe on in a local store and was really pleased with the fit. I was able to buy the black and the taupe but they didn't have the burgundy. The elastic is not tight and the shoe fits true to size.

Bought these in both the taupe and black patent leathers in my search of a comfortable ballerina skimmer flats that will stay on my feet. I've been wearing around my house and can report that they seem quite comfortable and only get downgraded from 5 stars due to a limited lateral space in the toe box, common with ballerina flats on the market. I'd like a bit more room laterally, but I've definitely worn worse and there is plenty of room in width to compensate for what it doesn't offer in height. The look and otherwise comfortable fit of this shoe raises the overall rating to a 5 for me. This well-made flat is adorable on the foot and the elastic back keeps the shoe in place on my narrow heels. No flipping and flopping out of this flat. Those with high arches may find the elastic top strap uncomfortable, but I need all the help I can get to keep from walking out of the shoe due to narrow heels so I think I will be able to tolerate the straps. Overall, I think they're keepers! Looks like my search is finally over.

Comfortable!
I was looking for a comfortable flat in a neutral tone. I bought the Madera (taupe) in my normal size 10M. The color is just what I wanted and the shoe is very comfortable. There is a bit of tightness at the button location as this is the widest part of my foot. I am hoping it will give slightly on further wearings. The placement and width of the strap make the shoe more cute than elegant. For a more refined look, the Clarks Demure is better (but they didn't make a neutral patent, only gold leather). Overall, this is a very good shoe.
