Good boot for work or riding.
This boot is great for work or play. I couldn't feel the steel toe and it's true-to-size. The soles are on the hard side, but they will probably last longer than a softer sole. They're also just as comfortable as my Redwings.

These run very small and very narrow. I love Dansko clogs and especially wanted these since they had padding on the bottom as opposed to wood, but the padding makes the shoe small and narrow. If you have a wider foot, get a size or two up (especially if you want to wear any type of sock). I have ordered two pair, my original size and one size larger and they both will be returned. Although the larger size fit, it would not allow me to wear socks. Love Zappos, effortless shipping and shopping and super easy returns.

Ouch!
I've yet to buy steel toes that are comfortable. Maybe if and when I break them in, they will be more comfortable than the box they came in… sure hope so! Again, Zappos service was outstanding.

Harley Davidson Boots -
I am pleasantly surprised about HD boots. When you first try them on, they don't seem to fit right. After wearing them a few times, they seem to mold to your feet and you don't even realize you have them on.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Any HD boot. Just make sure they are big enough

I think the Harley-Davidson's Crossroads II is a very well designed shoe as far as looks and comfort. The two things that I think are important in a shoe.
