I\'m a New York City girl. I wanted a hip, urban look with maximum comfort. Girls, I\'m in love. This Harley boot is uber urbane with that biker feel, but I wear it with Eileen Fisher clothes! This boot has a 2" stacked heel (descrip says it\'s 1 1/2 but it\'s 2") and has a bit of platform in front so you don\'t feel your feet sliding forward as much. It is wide, so if you have duck feet, answer to your prayers. As soon as I put it on, ahhhhh. I wear Dansko clogs as my main shoe, so you know where I\'m coming from. This boot\'s rugged rubber soles will work on ice and snow. Wore it all day today (with arch support insoles--enough room inside to accommodate). I have muscular calves, so they were a little snug around but they loosened up. Because they have straps, I can tighten if they loosen too much. The leather on this tall-style boot is much softer than the ankle-length Harley boots. This is a plus. The leather on the ankle boots are so hard that it is like walking in a cast.\r\n

I have wide calves (16.5 inch) and have been in a reent car accident and sustained injury to my right leg. So I was looking for something comfortable but would also get me thru the Illinois bad winters. I own a pair of Harley shoes already and decided (after reading these reviews to go for it). I also let the leather warm on my legs first to zip them up over my calf muscles. Once on they are very comfortable. The leather is soft and there if plenty of room in the toe area even though I have wide feet. Overall I am very glad I ordered these boots.

I was looking for some comfortable boots to wear to my nephew's wedding in Chicago. A friend at work said her Harley Davidson were the most comfortable boots she has ever worn, so I looked at them first. I fell in love with the style of the Sonoma boots. I needed a good quality, comfortable boot as I would be doing plenty of walking (there is no parking in Chicago). I have wide feet, and, am I ever glad I purchased those boots. We ended up walking the "Miracle Mile" about (3) times, then rode on the subway, then had to walk halfway through the airport again just to get to the shuttle to take us to the Hotel. I guess the moral of the story is don't go anywhere, especially to Chicago, without your Harley boots!

Own these! Wear them whenever I do not have time to mess around with not being comfortable. I have some advanced arthritis in my right knee from a sports injury when I was a teen, bone to bone contact from 80s "remove the cartilage" mentality of ortho surgeons. So when I'm going to be going full-throttle all day on concrete and tile floors, I teach in these.

Just got these boots in the mail today! Super fast shipping as usual. They are a great looking boot; the leather is soft and supple looking. Plenty of room in the toe box. I am truly a size 7.5w or 8m, so I ordered an 8 to hopefully get a little more room in the boot shaft. I grabbed a pair of socks and was able to zip them up about 3/4 of the way until my calves stopped me. So, patiently, I let them warm up to body heat level and inched up the zipper tooth by tooth. I also undid the top buckle for a little more give. Within 30 minutes or so the boots were fully zipped up! I have muscular calves (thanks, soccer!) so even though this wasn't advertised as a wide calf boot, I was hoping that I'd be able to get these on after reading other reviews. I'm planning to wear them around the house for a bit to break them in, but I have high hopes! So, I'd say it's definitely possible to get these on if you have a wider calf! I have a 16.5 inch calf, and I'd say a size 8 gives you a 16 inch circumference as described. I'd recommend graphite or candle wax if you really have zipper troubles. Also, the foot is very roomy, so if an insole is needed there won't be any trouble.

These boots are nice and I have received many compliments. "Where did you get those boots?" My husband finds them quite hot. This style is true to size and will easily stretch around your calf. These boots make your feet look petite, which is not what I expected. Highly recommended and Zappos service is superior. Down a little on comfort only because I otherwise do not wear boots with heels and it feels funny to me.

I have had these boots for 2 years and they are starting to look pretty worn, I wear them on the bike but also with short skirts and tights! I LOVE them. They have been so comfortable. I can walk in them for miles, with no problems, they were just a perfect fit for me. I am buying another pair for this winter!

I loved these boots but I just got back from a ten day bike trip, and on the last couple of days my right leg started aching while we were walking. The right heel on my boot looked worn down slightly and felt like it had broken down inside. Hollow heel just must have given out. Only been worn 20 times. 80 bucks to replace new sole. I love the looks but wish heel was solid.

I bought a pair of these last year due to my pipes burning my legs. I am short and these come up very high. They are EXTREMELY comfortable. I own may Harley boots, sandals, and shoes. The Sedona is by far the most comfortable. I wanted an extra pair and was notified by the Harley dealership that they were discontinued 2 years ago. They are so comfortable that I am about to buy another pair way before mine wear out. I bought a different pair that is not as comfortable and does not come up high enough. I burnt my leg on my pipes. I am a nurse an even wore my Sedonas to work a 12 hour shift at work. Very Comfy.

These boots are sooo comfortable and even make your feet look small. Comfort is #1 for me, well, the look is pretty important too. These boots look great, nice detail and feel great too. I don't have a Harley, but I love their boots!

Extremely happy with these boots - first of all, they fit perfect - true to size for my size nine "problem" feet. I even walked around several hours on a cement floor at a car show & no pain! They fit my large calves great. I was concerned about the rounded toe at first but I tried them with my bike & I will be wearing them for riding since my foot fits great under the shifter! I've already received several compliments too :)

After reading everyone's reviews here, I took their advice to order down a half size in this boot. Got them yesterday and they were too small. I have several other pairs of Harley boots/shoes and always wear a 6 in them and these were no exception. My advice, if you have other Harley shoes and they fit well, order that same size in these boots, I don't feel that they run large. Otherwise, great looking boot. They look great with skinny jeans tucked in.

Great Riding Boot!!
I'm so picky when it comes to boots and especially when I want a good pair to ride in and this boot passed the test for me. I just returned from Bike Week in Daytona Beach and I wore these boots the whole time I was there. Not only were they great riding boots but they were very comfortable with all the walking around I did as well! The only negative thing for me about this boot is its very loose fit around the calf which isn't that big a deal but I might have them fitted later on. My jeans would hike up over the top and I would have to keep pulling them down after sitting. Other than that, I love them. Functional yet stylish.

I purchased these boots as a replacement for a very similar pair of Harley Davidson boots that I've had for 12 years. After 12 years the zipper in the old boots broke, and I was unable to get them fixed. The original pair were made by H.H. Brown for Harley, and I expected the same manufacturer and quality in the new pair. The new pair (these) is made by Wolverine, and they're not very well made in comparison (Glue vs. stitching on the original pair, plastic zipper vs. the original's metal one). On their own they're fine, I had just expected another pair of boots that would last through 10 + New England winters. I expect this pair will last perhaps 2 or 3 winters. They are extremely comfortable and true to size and overall I'm quite happy with them. I just don't expect them to last.

I love this boot. I purchased a 1/2 size smaller as suggested by other reviews. I also have a wide calf and have found them to be easier to zip then other boots. The quality and style of these boots are amazing for the price. The sole is perfect for variations in weather conditions but retains the sexy appeal.

THESE BOOTS ARE FLY -
Everyone is correct in that these boots take time to break in but you can pretty much tell right away they'll give a little okay a lot. They barley zipped up on my calf the first time... but after a few hours they felt good. Unfortunately for me I won't be able to stuff jeans inside...They look good epically the profile... the front of the boot looks...well like a motorcycle boot. A little rugged, square, superhero-ish. But I still love them.

Comfortable and practical. This is my second pair. The first were leather, and they got a hole in them after 3 years of wear. The suede is much better looking. I really like them, and wear them most days to work. There is no arch support though...if you have a problem with that type of shoe, you might want to look elsewhere.

Ok, in my other review I talk about having huge calves and tiny feet, yadda yadda. But I listed to the advice of a friend, who said if I could zip them up --no matter how difficult-- to wear them around for a few days and they'd stretch out for me. I did, and they did. I love them. They look great with everything! And have felt comfortable in the foot area since the first wear. I've stood teaching in them all day, and they are just great.

Sweet boots!
These boots are great-super soft and comfortable. They have plenty of room in the calf area, and didn't give me a single blister. I wear them with pants and dresses and they look awesome! A slightly more feminine look than engineer boots, exactly what I was looking for.

My new favorite boots -
I ordered these for our honeymoon bike ride all over California, and I'm so glad I did! Riding in snow, my feet were warm and wonderful. Riding in 100F degree heat, and my feet were warm, but not uncomfortable. I walked all over in them in tourist attractions like Hearst Castle and Mercer Caverns with tons of stairs, and was quite comfy the whole time!
The only issue I had is that my calves are bigger than most, so I couldn't zip them all the way up at first. They seem to have stretched, though. Even though they're still a little tight, they feel fine. And of course they look amazing!
These are my newest favorite boots!

Almost the answer to my prayers -
I have tiny feet and huge calves (ex-gymnast, what can I say). Tall boots are like this unattainable holy grail of footwear for me. When I saw the calf circumference measurement on this one, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Especially after reading all the raves from wide-calfers saying the boots were roomy.
Well, either those ladies don't *really* have wide calves, or they don't have small feet... but the calf measurement listed above is for a size 9. The 6 1/2 boot is NO WAY 16 1/2 inches around, because my calves measure just under 15 inches (I know, right?) and these boots won't zip up.
Heartbroken. But they're pretty close, so I might take them to the cobbler and stretch them a bit. We'll see. With a 365-day return policy, I can take my time deciding!! Thanks, Zappos!
