So far my son has really enjoyed these shoes. He is 18 months old and has no trouble walking in these shoes. The soles are pliable, which is supposed to be good for toddler foot development. He can wear the shoes with or without socks and they go on really easily.

This is our second pair of this exact shoe; we love it. It's easy to walk on uneven surfaces and has enough cushion and support for running fast. They last as long as he fits the size, no wear here.

My daughter and son both wore these shoes. They are incredibly durable since I have been able to pass them on from one to another. They are lightweight for all day comfort and wide enough so my kids' feet do not get sore. These are the only shoes my 2 year old son wants to wear.

The shoes are great quality and fit perfect. My son has had them since he was born (the smallest size they make). Zappos is great, wonderful service!

Merrells fit true to form for my 3 year old son. He preferred this shoe to the Lands End
"moc" that was heavier with a heavier sole. Both were nice well made shoes, but he seemed to like the lighter feel to these (even ran lighter when he tried them on). Easy to get on and off.

Excellent shoes for active kids!
I bought a pair of these shoes for my 3 yr. old grandson so he could put them on by himself and plus Merrells are highly rated shoes in my book! They fit well, have plenty of room in the toe area, and have the best arch support I have ever seen in a shoe! Good investment for children's feet!

Better for slender feet than chubby feet...
I purchased two pairs of these, one pair for my three-year-old who has lost the baby fat in his feet and one pair for my 18-month-old who has not lost the baby fat in his chubby little feet. My three-year-old loves them and can pull them on and off by himself. That's always a bonus when you have more than one small child. My 18-month-old doesn't seem to mind them, but when I pulled them off his feet, you could see the marks that shoes left from digging into his baby chub. They're good looking shoes, and they appear to be well made, but I wouldn't buy them again for my younger son until he loses his baby chub. They definitely seem to run a tad narrow. Also, if your child has slender feet, but a high instep, they still might not work.

They are the cutest!
They didn't have my child's size anywhere, but here. And I got them the next day! That is just awesome!

We ordered these shoes for our 20 month old without being able to read any reviews. The soles are so flexible (something we look for, for his growing feet). And, these shoes are so cute – just like the adult versions. However, we couldn't really get his foot in them. We are thinking he may have a higher foot than normal and there really isn't much stretch to get his foot in. Too bad – they were great otherwise!

 |  | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family!
