Very nice shoe. My only other pair of Merrell\\\\\\\'s is the same shoe in the low-top version. Very comfortable from day one. My only concern, if any, is that the lugs on the sole really pack in the mud/dirt. It\\\\\\\'s hard to clean them out.

I\'ve got a wide foot; sometimes I wear a D width, sometimes an E, depending on the maker and model of the shoe or boot. I often end up in men\'s sneakers or boots because I can\'t find the right fit with women\'s, not even New Balance for sneakers. I read the reviews and decided to try Merrell and in particular the Radius especially because a reviewer wrote that it wasn\'t that heavy for a hiking boot. I\'m moving to Colorado and will need a waterproof boot during winter, & rainy weather; plus, my husband and I plan to hike. I wear a 7.5 or 8 when I buy men\'s sneakers so I went with a 8D and sure enough it fit perfectly. The area around the tongue is a little too roomy so I have to cinch the laces tighter than normal but it\'s nothing to complain about. The bottom traction is terrific, nothing rubbed anywhere. And it\'s a good looking boot. Certainly not stylish but I wasn\'t looking for that; I was looking for a well-made shoe that fit well with good traction, and that is what I got. And OK, they look great with my tan cargo pants, so maybe I\'m a bit vain. Zappos rocks, we all know that--they got the boots to me the day after I placed the order. Now my husband wants a pair of these boots too.

I can personally reccomend Zappos for their excellent customer service. As far as the boots, they are the most comfortable that I have ever had. The fit and grip are excellent along with great looks. Zappos is great!

I have owned these boot for about a month and they are absolutely superb. I live in Wyoming, where we have already had 8 inches of snow on a single day. The shoes had no break-in period, are easier on the foot to wear than my sneakers, are absolutely waterproof and have soles that cling to wet and snowy ground. I hike a lot and have had no foot soreness at all from day one, and of course Zappos service is excellent. I found the shoe to be true to width and size. I highly recommend this product!

Let me tell you, I have got picky, picky feet. I am on them most of the day and I require comfort. I've tried many a lightweight boot over the years for work, and these are the only ones to get the highest rating ever achieved by my picky feet. My only small niggle is that they could be considered to be a bit undersized in length. In my case, an 11 should have done it. Next pair will be an 11.5.

Great boots! I have wide feet and they fit perfectly (length, too). Good arch support and traction. Not too heavy, I use them as everyday work/woods shoes.

Great shoes, very comfortable right out of the box, not the toughest looking boots, but very comfortable. Survived a trashing last week and are waiting for another. Also, Zappos is awesome. Fast shipping and super service.

These are excellent and proven hiking shoes. I have worn these for a couple years and hiked extensively in PA. Very good grip. But, size up one full size. The normal .5 size up for these were a bit short.

My 2nd or third pair of these. Have bought other Merrells. They fit great and last. Zappos is great, too. Bought several pairs of boots, had to return some for other sizes or credit. All was fast with no problems. Long live Zappos.

I ordered an E width because I have owned Merrells in the past that seemed a little narrow. I\'m glad I did because these shoes feel great!

High Quality Comfort -
These are a very comfortable pair of shoes! The soles absorb a lot of vibration, which is great when I ride my motorcycle. I've had the shoes for a couple of months and they still look brand new.

Changed Merrells -
This is my third set of Merrell boots and the only pair I've been unpleased with. The insoles have been redesigned and the boot simply no longer fits my foot properly and is extremely uncomfortable which is very unfortunate as these were superb boots before. The left boot feels like it is continually twisting on my foot, I've added arch supports that help a little but doesn't completely solve the problem. I would not recommend these boots.

Heavy-duty beauty -
Closest to Pulse II I could find. (I guess Pulse series is discontinued) E wide option a little roomier than anticipated so a half size smaller fit the bill. Sturdy, stylish, and reliable Merrell quality all evident.

Merrell boot -
Very comfortable right away, true to size. Although, the look is a little heavy looking. Could use a better design on the toe. A bit plain looking.

This is my second Merrell and I'm convinced they are the most comfortable boots there is. It has to do with light weight and flexibility.

Great Boot -
Boot runs true to size in women's. I made a point to wear it around town to break it in, but it fit like a glove from day one. Absolutely the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. Great for both hiking and walking. A tad hard to get the mud out of the sole but then most boots are. You can wear one pair of Smartwools for walking around a wildlife refuge or add a liner for hiking with no sacrifice in comfort. I wear them all day long and my feet feel great.

Commercial Kitchen Use -
I stand on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day running our restaurant kitchen. The shoe feels good all day. The size runs ever so slightly smaller and narrower than my other shoes, but still fit me well. The kitchen is moderately wet and my feet stay dry.

Another Outstanding Merrell Product -
This is the second pair of Merrell shoes I've owned, the first being their excellent Jungle Mocs, and I'm equally as impressed! Perfect fit (10.5 wide), very comfortable, and they look great. I may never buy anything but Merrell products in the future.

Expected Better -
Nice looking shoe, but expected it to be more comfortable than advertised and from user’s reviews. I have not gone hiking yet, but traction on city slippery surfaces was poor. Good shoe, but not an excellent shoe.

Good Boots -
My winter work boot of choice. I have bought these boots several times before. Really like them. I live in the Northwest and work in the wine industry so I am in the vineyards tromping around. They work great.

Great Overall Boot - Runs Short and Narrow -
I love Merrell almost as much as I love Zappos and these boots are no exception. Awesome support, great cushioning, and of course the amazing Zappos service. The only problem with Merrells is that the sizing varies. I've purchased some that ended up being way too big, but these run very, very small as reviewers have said. I'd suggest one full size larger than normal. Also, they do run narrow.

Very comfortable hiker - great for wide feet -
I ordered this shoe and a Columbia because they were available in extra wide sizes, which I usually need. Kept this one because it was by far the more comfortable shoe for my size 13-wide feet. It was a little more expensive, but also was more attractive for everyday wear. After a couple weeks of almost daily use, I really like this boot. Haven't done any serious hiking yet, but great for everyday use.

Seems great at first -
This boot was for my husband who has hard to fit feet (wide and with wide toe region); he felt the boot was ideal at first, very comfortable from the start. However the next day of wearing the top of one instep started to hurt. So this will be a boot for shorter times rather than long treks.
