I own several pairs of Riekers and love them for there comfort and unique style so I bought my husband a pair of these in brown and he loved them so much that I bought him the black ones. I would give them more that 5 stars if I could.

These shoes are great; very light and comfortable, look dressy and go well with dressy pants for the office. I bought them for my husband because I was tired of seeing him wear his big heavy leather shoes in the summer which made his feet very hot. The price is not too cheap, but the shoes are worth every penny. I am planning to buy another pair for my father in law.

I\'m crazy about these shoes. They were so cozy right out of the box & I wear them daily. Two friends who saw them were so covetous that they have also purchased pairs from Zappos. These shoes advertise themselves, they\'re so stylish. I must admit, I bought a second pair just in case my first pair wear out. That\'s how paranoid I am about being without them at this point. My current favorites.

Great look and feel.
Style and fit are great. Very comfortable to walk around in. Synthetic material looked good light weight, but would have wanted a more leather look and feel for the price.

This shoe is one of my best. Very beautifully made. Very comfortable and easy to walk with. It also catches the attention of my friends and relatives. I love it very much.

Nice Shoe -
Looks good, light weight and comfortable. I bought one of those plastic foam sandals which are supposed to be so light and comfortable at the same time, but got a blister first time I wore them. Should have skipped them and worn my new Riekers. Pretty good price from Zappos, too. Zappos also shipped my shoes priority to get them to me in 4 days, because I ordered "Standard" shipping on late Friday. Still got free shipping. Thanks Zappos!

A comfortable shoe and good buy for the price.
A very comfortable and good looking shoe for the price. The shoe is soft and smart looking for any casual attire. I purchased two pair in brown and black for my casual wear in a trip to the pacific islands.

Excellent Vacation Shoes -
I bought these shoes for a vacation in Italy where I would be walking a lot. They were extremely comfortable, cool, and overall an excellent purchase. While my wife had several shoe "challenges" I breezed through without tired or sore feet at all.

Rieker Summer Shoes -
The shoes are light weight but sturdy. The fit is good, even if at first somewhat snug. After a few days of "breaking in" very very comfortable and easy to wear all day without even knowing one has shoes on.
One doesn't see shoes like this much in the US, they have a unique summery appearance. They look stylish and due to the weave are not hot on the feet in the summer months especially in the southern states.

Light Weight Comfort -
I am most pleased with the Rieker shoes I purchased. Zappos shipped them out the same day and I received the package in no time. The shoe is light weight and flexible for walking comfort. Like other reviewers, I too think a half size larger may provide a closer match as the shoe feels just a bit short at the toe. However, width and arch are perfect. Overall, I am very pleased with the Riekers and my initial Zappos purchasing experience.

Got these for a vacation to Romania. Great shoe but make sure to buy at least 1/2 size larger than your dress shoe. European sizes run smaller than US sizes.

A nice alternative -
Very nice looking shoe (my wife's favorite). An nice alternative to the many different types of woven shoes that look nice with dress shorts, etc. I would have preferred a leather sole over the synthetic one, but it does not take long to forget about that. Very comfortable when worn for first time (in Hawaii!).

Good all around shoe -
This shoe has a great look, and while it takes a little getting used to, after it has been worn a few times is very comfortable. Looks good with shorts, jeans, or casual slacks. I would recommend to anyone who travels and just wants to pack one pair of shoes.

Previous reviews are correct -
Based on the previous reviews, I also ordered one size larger than my usual size. The length of the larger size is perfect. The shoes are still one half size narrower than I would prefer, but maybe they will stretch over time. Service was faster than fast and the shoes are lovely.

Thanks, Zappos, for a website that's navigable, easy to order from, and customer-service driven.
I like the Rieker 16178 shoe that I bought. Great fit (my usual size), great look, and the ventilation helps (the shoe is more ventilated than the picture indicates). However, the shoe does takes its toll on my feet when I have to stand for several hours while I work. I bought cushioned implants and they help greatly.
I plan to buy another pair of these shoes soon.

I discovered Rieker shoes during a trip to Germany and have bought no other loafer since. It is lightweight and comfortable, good looking and reasonably priced.

These are probaly the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. (I am 70 yrs of age)
They are however only suitable in warm weather.

A great shoe, but I found the Mahogany color in the picture on the web site does not match the color received. Order a size larger then you normally wear, you'll be glad you did.

I have always had trouble finding shoes that fit me comfortably. After many years of daily use, I am finally wearing out my old pair of Rieker shoes, so I bought this new pair, and, once again, Rieker shoes are the most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever owned. They are simply the best.
