I was so glad to see that Arche brought this shoe back. I love these shoes. They are my go to shoe for everything. I live in Texas, so they are perfect as a year round shoe. For me they are the perfect ballet slipper.

These shoes would be perfect if the toe box wasn't so narrow. I have long narrow feet with some slight bunions and my toes are very squished in these shoes. But the quality and cushion seem to great. As usual, 42 is the largest size so I will have to send these back.

The perfect "little black flat" that is stylish and, above all, comfortable. The rubber sole makes this shoe feel as comfy as a slipper, but there's probably not enough support for long distance walks on hard pavement. Zappos continues to make shopping a total pleasure: easy, efficient and fun. Thank you!

Bought a pair in the color 'Poison' from a different source than Zappos, and they fit beautifully in size 8 [39]. Bought a pair in 'Noir' from Zappos - in the same size and they were way too tight, so returned them and am waiting for a size 9 [40] to come into stock. Have bought several other size 39's/8 from Zappos which seem okay, but for the Noir/Black at least, it's apparent that I need the next larger size. As every other reviewer has said, they are wonderfully comfortable shoes. Anyone with foot 'issues' will love them.

Best ballet flats ever - As a devoted fan of ballet flats I was totally bowled over by my pair of Arche Laius flats in a lovely crinkly silver that arrived today. They are truly the most comfortable, amazing ballet flat I have EVER worn. The cushiness of the insole is akin to walking on pillows, and this is one of the few ballet flats that doesn't slip in the heel and fits my foot like a glove. I have a feeling I'll be getting some more of these in other colors. As for sizing: definitely go up a size if you're a half size like me. I’m usually a US 6.5 but got these in the European 38 (US 7s) and they're perfect.

I love these shoes. They are ridiculously expensive but for me, the comfort and look are worth the price. I wear them all the time.

Love them -
Not for walking long distances, touring, or even shopping all day long. Love my sparkly Arche flats, great for parties, picnics, etc.

I thought the color was kind of loud. It looked creamy gold on the computer but in life it was a brighter gold. Nice fit but not enough support--probably true of all "ballet shoes."

Best shoe in the world!
I have never worn a shoe as comfortable in my life--and I do love my shoes. As I turned 50 my feet "shifted". I found my first pair of Arche's when I could barely walk anymore in London. I wear a 71/2 but went to an 8. Now I will never go anywhere with out a pair. I even threw a suede pair in the washer on gentle, put shoe trees in them to dry-like new

The fit and comfort of this shoe is remarkable, and the color is a wonderful very dark charcoal.

Perfect ballet slipper-
Looks like nothing when scrunched up, but on the foot it fits like a glove. Like a true ballet slipper, only better because of the bouncy latex sole, and the great Arche leatherwork, who allows one to wear it barefoot without the lining coming apart. I have it in tow colors (the other white cutouts).
