First great praise to Zappos for their Customer Service. You were wonderful. You truly believe in the customer is first. The New Balance walking shoes are wonderful. I wore Rykas for years but since they are changing their styles and sizes the last 3 pairs were never really comfortable. The New Balance shoes do run narrower than other shoes so I had to return one pair from 6.5 medium to 7 wide. They are wonderful. I had a total knee replacement in March and I need a pair of shoes that are just right for walking 3-4 miles a day and I found them. I love your customer service as much as I love the shoes.

I've worn New Balance shoes for a long time. They are a quality product. I now have 3 pairs of this style in different colors. It's a good stable shoe for a good price. I've ordered shoes from Zappos for several years now and am very pleased with their products, pricing and services. The orders were delivered quickly and returns were handled efficiently. I like the free shipping, especially on return. They're a quality company!

First off Zappos is the only place I shop for shoes online! I ordered my shoes on Monday and got them delivered on Tuesday. Who else does that? These are the only shoes I can wear to work. I stand all day and they support my feet and keep my back from being in horrible pain.

I purchased these as a 2nd choice. First choice not comfortable. However, they are wonderful for sore, difficult feet! I have a medical problem, thus have to wear a brace/support on my right foot. I work and want to have shoes that are at least attractive, even if they are sport shoes. These were perfect! Clean, comfortable, and answer the problem for me. Thank you for great service; free shipping/and free return! Shipping within 24 hours! Can't ask for anything more! Will shop again, for sure.

Besides the beyond excellent service from Zappos (as usual), this shoe is very comfortable and I was able to break them in after one wearing. I always look for the cushioning on the heel and toe. I've worn them all day and they remain comfortable after several hours. I got the light brown ones and I love the color. I would definitely recommend this shoe. As for sizing, they run true to size. But I buy New Balance exclusively because of the fit.

New Balance makes a good product at a fair price. My most recent purchase is a little disappointing as the sneakers seem a little too stiff. I am getting used to them now, but they aren't as comfortable to me as the 621s have been.

These are good sturdy shoes that look nice. I have them in brown. The arch is not the best, but there is plenty of room for orthotics which I will be wearing with pretty much every shoe I buy because of my high arches & heel pain. Lots of toe room in this shoe, another thing I look for.

I ordered three different styles of sport shoes for walking and general exercising; an Asics pair which was a bit stiff and a little short on the toe, and two New Balance pairs. The one I kept was comfortable from the get go and I have walked up and down the pavement and ground in NW DC and loved them. They are very comfortable. I did add my Spenco insoles which I put in almost every shoe. I'm very happy with the New Balance WX622 and I was happy that it came in black as I strongly dislike white shoes, especially at size 11!

Received my order of New Balance shoes in record time. I have bought New Balance tennis shoes many times over the years for both my husband and myself and never had a problem with fit and comfort.\r\n\r\nIt is not New Balance I have given the low rating to but rather the Style WX622. They look fine and fit great until after wearing them for a half day when they begin to hurt until I have to take them off. I have several other pairs of tennis shoes of various brands and have never had a problem with them hurting the top part of my arch area underneath the tongue and laces. I have tried adjusting the tongue and loosening the laces all to no avail.\r\n\r\nBecause I wore them outside to walk in, I have not returned them, and do wear them, but not for all day.\r\n\r\nI noticed a few other reviewers reported they hurt but on the whole this particular style got good reviews. It just may be something about our feet that is not compatible with the wear of this style.

I wear a small size shoe in a wide. I was able to get just the sneaker I needed for half the price of what I would have paid locally. I received my order within 2 days! Great!

I purchased these for my 85 year old mother. I chose the white with pink trim in wide width. Mom still walks every day and she loves them. The extra width means she has lots of room in the toe box. I have a similar sneaker that I use for exercise on the elliptical. They work well for both applications. I highly recommend them!

This is my second pair of this particular New Balance shoe. I am a walker and found this shoe to be not only comfortable but also very durable. I can do my walk everyday without having to worry about any problems with my feet. Zappos mail their products very promptly and efficiently.

Bought these shoes for walking and everyday life. \r\nThey are true to size in length & width for my size 7 foot. I find them very comfortable and enjoy wearing them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable all round shoe. \r\nI bought solid black so as to not show grass stain or any other dirt or stain that might end up on my shoes.

The New Balance shoes were true to size. The AA was a great fit. New Balance seems to be the only company with truly narrow widths. I got my shoes the next day to my surprise. This is the best way to shop for narrow width shoes!

Pushing my foot into this New Balance shoe for the first time was like entering a cloud! WOW! My big, wide feet suddenly felt warmly cushioned and surrounded, yet light, light, light! Perfect fit, the first time. Extremely comfortable shoe, which I am using in my walking program as rehab after knee surgery. I have a very wide foot (EE) and sometimes the toe box of a shoe will fit but the heel will slip, not with these. Can not recommend them highly enough. Thanks, Zappos!

I have worn New Balance 600 series for many years, but have never had them in the correct size until now. Even in a large city like Houston, no stores that I have found carry narrow width athletic shoes, especially New Balance shoes. I wear a 12B and have had to settle over the years for buying 12D's and lacing them up tightly. I received my 12B 622's today from Zappos.com and what a pleasure it was to put them on. The correct size makes all of the difference in the world. I'll admit that I was skeptical about ordering shoes online even though I order many other things online. How many times do you try on shoes in a store that look good, but just don't feel right? After much frustration with not being able to find narrow width New Balance shoes in Houston I found Zappos.com and decided to give them a try. I figured with the free shipping both ways I could return the shoes if they didn't feel right. Well, I won't be returning the shoes. I am very pleased with the shoes and with the service from Zappos.com.

These were listed under "orthotic friendly". I do not recommend them as AF . I had a pair of 621s and they were definitely AF for my custom orthotics . These 622's have a defect which, in my opinion, disqualifies them . The base of the tongue inside the shoe is not finished smooth like my 621s and digs into the instep when the orthotic raises the level of the foot . Painful.

I have had New Balance walking shoes for forever and when my last pair wore out I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a pair that fit so well, were so well made, etc. Nothing to worry about at all! My new New Balances are just as great as the old ones. P.S. Zappos rocks too! Lightening quick shipping, easy returns, great selection, excellent customer service, everything!

These cross trainers provide great support. I have very high arches and at first they seemed a little snug. I have smaller than average heels and found I needed to supplement the padding. I have plantar fasciitis and this style has really helped alleviate the pain. They are a bit "clunky" looking, but if you can get over that, they're a good shoe.

I have narrow feet so there are not a lot of choices in walking/running shoes. These shoes are the perfect width (2A) and appear true to size length wise. They were comfortable from the first minute I put them on. I'm a walker not a runner, so I can't speak to their "runnability". I would certainly recommend them for a walker that needs narrow shoes.

I couldn't find my regular NB style so I bought this one instead because it seemed to be the closest. I like this shoe, but it's a little loose in the heel. I have a hard fit to begin with, 6EE, so having a shoe wider anywhere is unusual for me. But overall, I do like it.
