Classic AND Comfortable -
I wear a size 11 and find it very difficult to find a modern, classic shoe. These shoes are not only fashionable, but they are very comfortable. I haven't worn heels in at least 10 years and didn't know how this would work out, but it is a great experience. The heel cup and the soles melt around your foot. Buy it and you won't be sorry. Footnote: I will never buy a lesser made shoe again.

I have a slender foot but generally wear a medium width shoe. However, I found this shoe to be too wide and my foot slipped forward too much. Cute shoe and I would have re-ordered it in a narrow width had it been available.

Not as good as Taryn Rose can be -
The reason I spend so much money for Taryn Rose is because they are so comfortable. This shoe is cute, which of course IS important to me, but there was some buckling in the patent that isn't the best, though it MAY be the nature of patent. Comfort is good, but not as comfortable as some possibly because, again, the patent leather. It is however probably more comfortable than any other patent leather shoe, which normally doesn't give at all.

Fabulous fit!
I love this shoe! It does run a little big, I'm usually a size 6, but the 6 was too big. Went down to a 5.5, a little tight but it will stretch!! Excellent arch support!

The daffodil -
I have found this pair of shoes to be very comfortable and very adaptable to day and night wearing. I am normally a 351/2 and I needed to size down to a 35 in this shoe. Furthermore, I was appreciate of Zappos for finding my size. It is so difficult to get in the stores.

I love comfort -
I bought my Daffodil shoes in patent red. Since the color is so bold, I didn't want to look over the top at work. The heels are a perfect height and the classy style set the shoes apart.
The best thing about these shoes is they are TRULY comfortable. I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewers. The leather is very soft and feels almost elastic. The Poron foam isn't obvious visually, but as soon as you step your feet into them, you can tell the difference. It provides tremendous amount of support.
I found the sizing to be very accurate. I wear 7 normally and Daffodil in 7 fits me perfectly.

Not what I hoped for -
I ordered these in pewter metallic, hoping for a shoe I could wear to the office with suits as well as for evening, and they were not quite what I expected. Three things: First, the pewter is not really pewter (gray); it's more of a bronze or a taupe color. The photo on the Zappos site looks grayer. Second -- these are really, really shiny! Much more so than the photo would suggest. Not a subtle look at all; more disco. Third, these were not as comfortable, for me, as for some of the people who have submitted raves. They are relatively comfortable for a heel this high, true. But I found them quite tight across the toes -- the clearance seems very low -- and my feet are not at all plump. I also found they "pooched out" a bit in the middle along the outside of my feet.
As to style, I do think these are pretty, but I agree with the reviewer who said they were too "old lady" looking. Kind of a glam old lady look -- think Palm Springs, or Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard.
So, I'm disappointed in my first Taryn Rose purchase, especially given the steep price. I will keep the shoes since I did wear them for a full day at work, but I don't know that I'll wear them quite as often as I thought.

Pewter Daffodil -
Too tight in the toes, and a bit old lady looking. The Pewter is very sparkly, but it just looked too old. On the otherhand, very good arch support for a heel.

Be Still, My Heart -
Sheeesh. I *love* these shoes. To understand how much, you'd have to understand that I normally wear Birkenstocks or Earth Shoes, and *never* anything higher than half an inch. But these lovely, lovely shoes have won my heart and the approval of my feet. I'm also a big klutz and could fall over walking a straight line, so always feel weird in heels, but am secure walking in these even on non-carpeted floors. The construction gives you stability, and the rubber sole maintains traction. The pewter metallic is special: it's this amazing silk-finished leather, very, very soft, eye-catching shiny, in a classy way. Only very slight complaint about heel slippage, which I'm addressing with an inserts. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 and went for a 39, which is working for me.

This shoe is gorgeous AND comfortable. I bought the metal look which is basically a metallic gray. I usually buy black, but this was soooo dressy looking I couldn't resist. It will go with black, navy and red - almost anything. I was amazed at how comfortable it was. I will wear these a lot! They would totally dress up a suit. I wear a size 6 and the 6 fit perfectly.

I've found most of the styles of TR shoes to be middle age and frumpy - and we older divas definitely don't want that. This style, especially in the pewter metallic, does what her shoes are advertised to do – very, very comfortable even for long wear and attractive. Not particularly high style - if that's what you're looking for, go to Pliner and some of the named designers - but classic looking. I have another pair of her shoes which are the same way - attractive in a low-key way and wonderfully comfortable. The 2 complaints I have about her shoes are: 1) their price points, which even I - being a longtime shoe-a-holic - find ridiculous and 2) the sizing is not uniform throughout her styles.

Versatile, feminine shoe -
I discovered Taryn Rose with these shoes this spring and I've bought them in several colors. They are covered up enough to pass with a suit but feminine enough to go with a dress and look great with dressy shorts or jeans. I have terrible feet (flat arches and metatarsal), and can't wear more than a 2 inch heel in anything but Taryn Rose. I add a Pedaq "Lady" support in the shoe for metatarsal support and they are amazingly comfortable. They look great with a bare foot or with opaque hose and can be dressed up or down. The heel is not as graceful as a stiletto, of course, but I am consistently amazed at how streamlined the TR shoes look on the foot - not chunky at all.
In terms of Taryn Rose sizing - Zappos does the translation right... I am a 10.5B and many shoe sellers mistakenly equate that with a 40.5 which is not correct. The 41 fits as a 10.5 should. Like other shoe lines, I have gone up a half a size for some styles, but mostly the size is true.
Even though they have the flexible sole with rubber inset, I have my shoemaker add a thin rubber sole which makes them even more comfortable and keeps them looking like new - protect that investment.

I am a big fan of Robert Clergerie for design and Mephisto for comfort, but I keep returning to Taryn Rose since this is the only shoe out there that combines both design and true comfort. This shoe elongates your leg and yet feels like you are wearing only 1 inch heels! I wear an 8.5 and I went up to a 9 since I have wide feet. My only complaint about Taryn Rose is her sizes are all over the place. I wear between an 8.5 to 9.5, depending on the style.

The shoe was not a half size too large for me, I had to add pads in the heel to keep them on. They are comfortable and very nice looking!

I couldn't believe how comfortable these shoes were! They felt like they were made for my feet. I thought my days of 3" heels were over, but these shoes are so well designed it feels like the heels are much lower.
Like many other reviewers, I ordered a half-size up and that worked fine. One thing few reviewers mention is the excellent ball-of-foot cushioning in these shoes. After two stress fractures, that was a real concern.
Unfortunately, I'll be returning them because my toes squish out the front. Now I remember why I never wear peep toes! I'll definitely buy another pair of Taryn Rose's, however.

The Best!!
I bought these shoes in May for my daughter's college graduation. I had them on from early morning until a late reception that night and never once did I feel uncomfortable. I would highly recommend them. I have a narrow heel and they fit absolutely perfect. They are expensive, but well worth the price when you have to wear a shoe for more than an hour or so and stand for a long time. I wish the red came in nappa instead of patent.

Oh my gosh! These are truly beautiful shoes in true red! Way more than I have ever spent on shoes, but I am considering them an investment! Comfortable, stable, and easy to walk in. I can wear them for about 8 hours before they become slightly uncomfortable. I normally wear 8.5 and had to reorder for a 9. As I said, these are "wow" shoes!

The best heels ever!
I am a shoe diva who typically only wears comfort shoes but I needed a dressy pump for evenings and formal events. I didn't think I would ever pay this much for a pair of shoes but the money was VERY well spent. I literally walked a mile during a gallery night in these shoes and didn't have one complaint, blister, callous, or ache that night or the next day. That was the first time I wore them. :)
Go ahead and splurge. Your feet will thank you and the shoes are built to last. Thank you Taryn Rose for building shoes like this!!

This is a very good shoe, classy and elegant and comfortable. I agree with all of the other reviewers but no one mentioned that the back of the shoe slips off of one's heel when one walks. I have bought inserts but it threatens to happen again each time I walk. I bought two pairs of the same shoe to see if it was my foot or the shoe and it was the shoe. I also bought a pair from Neiman Marcus a half size smaller and the same problem. The quality of the shoe is high but this is a troublesome defect to an otherwise impeccable shoe.

Beautiful shoe!!
This is one of the best-looking and most comfortable shoes I've seen. It fits me even though my foot is narrow (AA) and the shoe is medium. I only wish it were less expensive!

Red patent leather of my dreams!
I actually had imagined my perfect pair of red patent leather pumps before I saw these. They had to be a gorgeous red, have peek toes, and a heel I could actually walk on. Was I sparked when I saw these! They are even better than I had imagined, and worth every penny.

Love this shoe!
This shoe is just wonderful. It offers a great deal of support and seems like I should be able to wear this shoe all day. The shoe's construction also doesn't cut into my skin like some shoes do so I'm inclined to believe that it won't be as likely to cause blisters. I do think that the shoe runs a little larger but not by a half-size. These are expensive shoes, but I feel that you are at least getting something for the price. I only wish that Taryn Rose could produce shoes that are as stylish and comfortable at a lower price.
