Comfy All-Around Hiker! So far, so good! This mid-height all-purpose boot required virtually no break-in period...I've put about 12 miles of day hiking on moderate trails in two days and had no hot spots or foot problems. Good traction on muddy trails and solid ankle support.

NEVER hesitate to recommend nor shop at Zappos.com... love that I can type in my size, desired heel height, shoe style, color, and price range (oh and width)... ad in a click of my mouse I have a wonderful selection to chose from... At first glance and as a repeat loyal and happy customer of Zappos.com, I was a bit disappointed when I saw hat standard shipping had replaced your overnight policy; but, at the same time I completely understood in these economic times... however, to my complete delight my shoes where shipped out the same day and delivered to my door the next day!! Kudos to you. It is always a huge pleasure these days when a company performs as well as yours and when the customer remains in high regard. I plan to order many, many, many more shoes and accessories at Zappos.com in the future. Can a woman really ever have too many shoes? :) ... Not!!!!
