A gorgeous skimmer for a beautiful gown -
After several months of searching, I selected the Shannon Britt "Olivia" skimmer flats in Light Blue Satin with Embossed Gold for my wedding shoes. I usually take a size 10, but since I'm wide across the toes and narrow in the heels, I ordered a size 10.5 and they fit perfectly! - better than any other shoes I own! The quality of the satin, soles, lining, and lovely small wooden heel is seamlessly beautiful. They did squeak a little when I first put them on (maybe from being in a cold delivery truck?), so I rubbed a tiny bit of lotion into the uppers and that took care of it completely. They are a pale, pale blue satin that's printed delicately with a creamy rose-gold pattern and when they are on your feet, the colors are quite subtle - truly, truly lovely. They look gorgeous with my ivory mermaid gown. I am SO pleased with them!

If you have to wear flats -
These are THE flats to wear for your wedding. Two weeks before my wedding, I put a hairline fracture in my right 5th metatarsal so the high heels I'd bought were out. I bought these because I had to and I felt sorry for myself so I thought I'd splurge. It turned out I absolutely LOVE them and got many compliments. I will wear them again with an elegant summer outfit, so they were worth it after all!

Beautiful shoe -
Wide-footed customers should buy a half-size up - I did and they are perfect. Buy when on sale... Probably should wear heel guards with this, but isn't necessary.

Bought for my wedding -- much more fun than the conventional white satin shoe :). And, I can wear it again with a fun summer dressy dress.
