Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked

Disappointed - This is the first casual Rieker of many I have that I have to return. It is a very unforgiving shoe. Stiff. I tried putting my foot into it for a couple of days for a short time, and it felt too snug both times. There is a very small piece of elastic under the button that is meant to give some give to the strap across the instep and I would predict that would break with a small amount of wear and that would make for a predicament. Rieker would have been better off using the old standby velcro for the adjustment and still kept the button for looks. There is absolutely no room in the toe. Has to be a perfect fit. It has style, but that's about it...
