So cute!
These shoes are so cute in black. I usually wear a 7 1/2, so I ordered the US equivalent 8... way too big. I then ordered the US equivalent 7 and thought they were too small. After wearing them around the house for an hour or so, found they were a perfect size for me. Both shoes I received looked a little faded, especially the suede parts around the opening. I think with a little shoe polish and buffing on the leather, it will probably improve them. Besides feeling weird because the sole curves up in the front, I have to rate these as comfortable because they don't give me blisters or tear my feet up like 95% of my other shoes do.

Very cute, clunky shoe. Looks great with jeans or crops. The top back by the heel rubs, but I just used a bandaid. I didn't want to give them up!!! I ordered a 7.5, but wear an 8 in these shoes and they fit great. Zappos, you are wonderful!

A great shoe!
Got this for comfort--casual work environment, around town, and to show off my hand knit socks. Works great. :) The only negative--the way the buckles work I'm constantly scared I'm going to bust the strap... I have to pull kinda tight to get it to the proper spot on the strap, and it's a slit rather than a round hole... But, as with all Docs I've had, I love them. :)

Reunited (almost) with my favorite shoes -
Years ago I had a pair of Doc Marten mary janes that I wore throughout medical school and residency until they literally fell apart (and that was a sad day indeed!). I wore them with everything - pants, skirts, scrubs - and everywhere - usually while working, but also out clubbing. They looked great, were low maintenance, and most importantly, were comfortable. I kept trying to find a new pair and Doc Martens just never made that style again. These are not the exact style as my old beloved shoes, but they are about as close as shoes could get and I LOVE THEM. I am thinking of buying a second pair in brown and am fighting the urge to stockpile several pairs for when I wear this one out. If you buy them, keep in mind that they run a little large. I usually wear a US 5-1/2 to 6 and these fit in 5. I also have to add-Zappos can't be beat for customer service! Their shipping is fast and the merchandise is well-packed. Their return policy completely customer-friendly and that means a lot. I never buy shoes anywhere else since I have found Zappos.

Wonder shoes - I have been buying and wearing Doc Martens for the last two decades and this is the first pair that I did not have to break in. Yes, they do run a bit large but that is fine. Soft and comfy. I am very happy with this shoe.

Doc Martens has really changed from the old days of clunky unattractive styles to something that is cute and smart and comfortable at the same time. This Mary Jane is supportive, comfortable and springy. It was comfortable right out of the box so no break time and it seems to mold to your feet the long you wear them. I love the slotted holes and the air holes at the top of the foot. They run a little large - I normally wear a 9M but after reading the other reviews, got this one in 8 and it fit perfectly.

Great Shoe -
This is a great shoe. I love Docs too. Cuter than regular Docs. The leather is very soft! The shoe is a bit larger than sized, which is great to put a comfort insole in. A nice summer shoe.
