Too loose & wide -
These sandals were too loose and the footbed was too wide. Also, the circle on the sides rubbed uncomfortably.

Great Walking Sandal -
The "San Remo" lives up to Merrell's reputation for comfort. With the velcro straps, adjustments for a good fit can be made across the instep and around the back of the heel. The plastic "quick click" fastener is nice instead of a metal buckle. There is a good arch support in the contoured insole, the sole is quite flexible, and they are light-weight... all important for easy walking. Great for trips to Disneyland or anywhere that requires being on your feet all day.

Unexpected surprise -
I bought these sandals expecting just an ordinary sandal. Well, I suddenly realized as I was walking along Broadway, that I was walking on a cloud. I had forgotten that I have problems with my feet. I was walking at such a brisk pace, as though I had a wind at my back, and it was all due to these great sneaker like sandals. What more could I want? My feet were gently enclosed with very comfortable straps and I truly felt I was walking on a sponge. I am thrilled!

It's a nice shoe, looks good with anything... pants, skirt, shorts, etc. I didn't find it to be as adjustable for comfort as others said. Doesn't give much support, but then again... there is not much to it.

Cute and pretty comfy shoe -
This sandal is great for everyday--I've even been wearing them every day since I got them, with skirts, shorts, pants...I've gotten tons of compliments, and I like how adjustable the straps are. But I was surprised at first by the very firm arch--it hurt my foot for a few days, and I wondered if I'd be able to wear the shoe. It seems that my feet are used to it now, and overall these are the most comfortable sandals I've owned.

What a pleasant surprise!!! Had to leave the land of flip flops because of what they were doing to my feet. I love the way these fit, look and feel. My feet are very happy (and I have a bunion). I would highly recommend them with zero hesitation!!!

The best sandal I have worn in a few years. Cushions the ball of my foot where I have had a lot of problems recently. The straps are comfortable from the first time I put the sandal on and they hold the sandal firmly to my foot. Great for walking. The insole keeps my foot cool.

Merrell shoes won me over several years ago. Stylish, comfortable, and well worth the expense. Highly recommended for people on their feet a lot. Feel better than tennis shoes.

Great alternative to all those sporty sandals!
I walked all over on my Mexico vacation in these and they were great. They rubbed in one place on my toe the first day, but great after that. And really, I can't blame the shoe - I only got them a week before my trip! Also, I wish the velcro was a little more secure, but that's the price you pay for a comfy shoe that looks cute and strappy!

Too bad for skinny feet -
Gosh, why can't more sandal makers realize that straps need to adjust down more for skinnier feet? Not narrow, but skinny, low density feet. I liked everything else, but unfortunately the toe strap doesn't adjust and felt too large, but even the other adjustable straps needed to go past the end of the velcro if they were to fit my feet.

Merrells sandal -
Very comfortable sandal, took out of box and started wearing, did not hurt anywhere. Would definitely order again. Great quality!

Like Buttah!
These shoes were amazing right out of the box. Very supportive and cushy, but with a good "city" look (not overly sporty/hiker). I wear an 8 - 8 1/2 and ordered the 8 (39). Just right. Lots of hidden velcro allows for custom adjustment on the heel and top of foot. They have excellent support for the heel strike and ball of foot.

Great fitting shoe -
Very comfortable shoe. It would be nice to have more cushion in the sole however. I wore this shoe while traveling and the soles of my feet were a little fatigued after several hours of walking.

Great except for no half-sizes -
I love Merrell and these sandals are quite comfortable -- except that they would fit much better if they came in half-sizes. Unlike the clog-style Merrell’s, going up to size 10 for my narrow size 9 1/2 feet, doesn't work all that well. But I would recommend them highly to those lucky people with whole-size feet.

Cute and Comfy -
For a walking shoe, I thought this shoe was cute. Looks good with capris and skirts. I walked in NYC the first time I had them on and they felt great. Would buy them again in another color.

I Can't Believe I'm Wearing Shoes -
I have plantar fasciitis and can not tell you the problems I have with shoes that let me walk without pain. I bought a pair of Merrell slip-ons with sheepskin lining and they were so comfortable I wanted to try the sandals. I was not disappointed. I cannot praise the fit and comfort enough. Thank you for your service and helpfulness in getting me into the right shoe.

A nice comfort sandal -
Comfort makes this a good choice for a casual shoe. Because I am hard to fit, I bought this in two colors, neutral and black. I had to exchange for a full size smaller than usual, which helped the medium width fit my narrow foot (I wish more shoes came in half sizes and narrow widths!). Zappos exchange process was easy and employees were very helpful with my exchange.

Merrell comfort - just right!!!
This shoe is great. It wears like a tennis shoe, looks like a not so stable shoe, fools the eye. It has every angle on the shoe where you can adjust with velcro straps for perfect fit! I have VERY bad arches and I can wear these all day! They are just what the foot needs!

These sandals have proven that Merrell has once again offered comfortable, attractive footwear for the summer. I purchased a pair in black and wore them all over on a vacation. Love, love, love the shoe. I teach 2nd grade and have had bunion surgery and I was able to wear this sandal all day (no break-in time). I got lots of compliments, too, on the style and color.

Nice looking sandal -
I really like the look of this (tan) sandal. I usually wear a narrow because of a thin instep and these are a little more loose than I would like. They are going to stay on though. There is a velcro closure that can be tightened, but I already have it pulled as tight as it can go. As long as they don't stretch I will be okay.
