Have worn Merrell sandals for years. Bought three colors of these Genoas, since couldn\'t find Merrill\'s previous "toe tube" styles. Have long (size 11), "fragile" foot with bunions and these cradle beautifully and look great. Not as much of the foot cover/support that I liked in Merrell\'s previous styles though.

I have yet to meet a Merrell I didn\'t like :) I bought these shoes to take to Vegas with me. The first time I had them on my feet was the day we left for vacation. I wore them the entire week in complete comfort! Excellent sandal!

I love these shoes, they are the 3rd pair that I have owned. I wear them everywhere they are so comfortable. We took a trip to Mexico and everyone said I needed to take closed toe shoes to walk in because of the cobblestones. I did take a pair of closed toes but ended up wearing my Merrell Genoas all the time and didn't stub my toes at all. I have a narrow foot, but because of the tube toe they fit perfectly.

I tried some of these sandals in the past, not thinking that I would like a thong. But, the support around the toe makes it not shift and the footbeds are wonderful. I dropped bleach on one and also wanted more pairs before they are not made anymore. I love the mint ones. THe raspberry ones are a bit too "fushia" , but I will find uses for them. Wish they still had the rust red color. These are super!!!

The Merrell Genoa is well constructed, stylish and most of all extremely comfortable. It has an excellent arch support and is great for wearing all day, especially if you do a lot of walking.

This was a first time order for me and I was very pleased. I thought I could always return the shoes I ordered because your return policy had no shipping cost involved, if I wasn\'t happy with them. Love all the Merrell sandals. They are so comfy and well made. The Genoas are great support, but I did like the Bellunas a bit better (same shoe with one extra strap across the top.

Zappos - the only way to go. I received fast, efficient service with my order. I was impressed with my first pair of Merrell shoes and have been hooked ever since. I liked the look of Genoa and I was equally impressed with the fit. It is a very comfortable shoe and has great color selections. The only problem I have is that I wanted one in every color! I highly recommend the Genoa to anyone who wants secure fit in sandals with minimal coverage! Walk on!

Extremely comfortable underfoot and between the toes, and they don't flap when you walk. Much more like a sandal than a flip-flop. When I had some heel pain, I bought them to wear instead of bare feet around the house. Now my heel is fine, and I still wear these all the time. Molded footbed offers arch support.

Merrell shoes are my all-time favorites. I have worn the same style over and over. However, this Spring and Summer, the styles in the stores/catalogs that I had no longer carried this style. The new ones did not have the fit or support I had relied on, so I went online. There, I found a great selection at Zappos of my favorite style and others. I have ordered several pairs. I told a friend about Zappos, and she just ordered three pairs of her favorite Merrells, not available in stores. The service from Zappos could not be better. They work hard for customer satisfaction, and I am delighted to find these great shoes, which I wear practically 24/7.

Merrell managed to take this rather utilitarian style Genoa sandal & make it look cute. I have just purchased my third pair (Brown, Seagrass, Navy)and love them. They are wery well made with a comfortable wide molded footbed & they hold your foot in place. I cannot stand the way a regular thong sandal feels between my toes but these do not dig into your foot. I wear a 6.5-7 and the 6 in this fits me perfectly. You will love these and you will love Zappos!

I love my Genovas. Very comfortable. The only problem I have is that the soles smell bad and omit an odor that doesn't seem to want to go away. It's embarrassing standing in a line at the store knowing others around me can smell my shoes! Will this odor ever go away?

Unbelievable comfort and support right out of the box! This sandal is what I wanted the Columbia Nevis to be, but the Nevis is an inferior shoe in my opinion. I will make some comparisons in this review between these two shoes, since I know that many of us looking for this style wander back and forth between the Merrell and the Columbia versions. The Merrell Genoa has a really well-constructed footbed. It conforms to my foot perfectly yet offers the right amount of support. It is soft and yet firm all at the same time. The toe loop provides stability as does the band that wraps around the upper part of the foot. This band is wider in the Genoa than it is in the Nevis, and it provides more comfort and support. The Nevis made my foot slip inward a bit and it pulled slightly around the toe ring when I walked. It didn't feel that supportive, either. Not so with the Genoa; it is absolutely perfect. The length of the shoe is also just right. I am a 9.5-10 in street shoes, but usually take a 9 in sandals, especially if they are whole sizes. This fits just right and is also the perfect width for my medium but still needs room foot (my feet changed with my pregnancies and while they are not wides they definitely need more room than they used to!). I plan to get these in more colors as soon as possible, and I can't see my wearing very many of my other shoes until the frost is on the pumpkin here in New England! This shoe is pricey, but well worth it. I am glad I returned the Columbia Nevis and paid the extra money for the superior fit and craftsmanship of the Genoa.

I\'ve had these flops for months now, and agree that they are really comfy and supportive. However, if you\'re feet have a tendency to swell this may not be the shoe for you! When I took them on a tropical vacation, it was hard to get my feet out of them at the end of the day--literally--my big toe was being strangled :{

These are great sandals. I\'ve never liked the feel of flip-flops because I don\'t care for the band between my toes, but these are much different and don\'t bother me at all. They hug your big toe as opposed to going between the toes. I\'ve been rough on them since I bought them 2 weeks ago, lots of water, sand, and general walking around, and they\'re holding up great and are very comfortable. Plus, they\'re super stylish...the cranberry ones especially, I\'ve received many complements.

I have these shoes glued to my feet. I put them on when i wake up and don\'t take them off till i go to sleep every day. They fit like they were made for me. They are the best shoes I have ever worn. They hold their shape very well as well as have duribility.

Several years ago after breaking an ankle and having it rebuilt (literally), I discovered Merrell sandals. I am a beach born baby boomer who has lived all her life either barefoot or in flip flops. Merrell Genoa has allowed me to continue with wearing sandals year round but giving me plenty of support to help with my diminishing balance. I am looking toward a complete ankle replacement in the next year and know that Merrell sandals will be there for me after that hurdle. They are really the best for support.

 |  | I just wanted to say how much I love Zappos and your customer service. I recently had an order of 4 pairs of shoes. I knew if they didn't work out I could return them without any problems or questions. Luckily I liked all the shoes. But best of all you shipped them all in one large box which was really convenient because I didn't have to wait for 4 shipments.
