Merrell blew it when they replaced the chameleon stretch with this shoe they are not near as comfortable or as good looking!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Chameleon Stretch if you can still find them!

Disappointed -
Previously owned Chameleon II Wrap which was a much more comfortable shoe. Merrell chose to replace it with this model. Big mistake.

Great shoes, excellent service - As usual, Zappos service is the best! These shoes are the first Merrell shoes I have owned and I am impressed with the comfort and quality of construction. The shoes feel sturdy like a hiking shoe should, and they are comfortable all day long. I particularly like the Neoprene lining and draw cord closure. Great look, great feel, great value!

I love this shoe. It is extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on out of the box. They breathe very well and keep my feet very comfortable throughout the day. I will definitely purchase this item or its next generation brother when it comes out for sure.

These were different than the Chameleons I had before and I was unsure when I started wearing them if they would be the same. They are not. They are better. Lighter and cooler than the other pair and very stable and comfortable. 5 stars across the board. I can’t wait to see how they handle a Chicago winter.

Best golf shoe available for walkers. Merrell shoes are made for walking in a variety of conditions, which pretty much describes a golf course. These grip as well as any golf shoe, do less harm to the course than soft spikes, and you can wear them to the course, on the course, in the bar, and on the way home. So much better for walking than any 'golf' shoe, all of which seem to be made for riding in carts.

It’s about time that Zappos sold the Merrell line -
Have had many Merrell shoes in the past and you can't beat the comfort. These shoes did not require a break in period. Can't go wrong with Merrell, I want Zappos to carry more of their line.

Not a slip on -
While I really love the look of this shoe, the other reason I bought it was I thought it would be easy to put on & take off due to its slip on construction. Not so, this shoe takes quite a bit of effort to put on if you buy the size you normally wear, if you size up the shoe slips on your heel. Don’t count on it stretching out much either, it hasn't in a year. Still I love the look of this shoe. My youngest son sometimes wears it to school, so I know it must look cool!

Give your feet a new home -
Years ago I bought the original iteration of this shoe and, while comfortable, it had an annoying plastic piece that eventually broke through the fabric and cut into your heel/Achilles tendon.
This is NOT that shoe and has been redesigned so despite slipping the shoe on and off and giving it all types of abuse, repeatedly, it's still as comfortable as the day I bought it.
It's great on all terrain when dry, but slips a bit more than you would expect when wet/in snow. That being said use care when crossing streams or on ice/packed snow. They're also a bit warm in the summer due to the form fitting nature of the shoe (it also depends on the thickness of your sock).
I've had this shoe for over a year; have worn it on light to medium intensity hikes, as an every day shoe, and recently for a two week trek through Europe. Though I had a change of shoes with me, these were the only ones I needed. Give your feet a new home away from home and give them a shot.
