Shoe review -
This is one cool, great looking shoe. I use them for walking and trail hiking and the performance is great. The tread really digs in for a great grip, but it is open enough that the dirt doesn't stick. It has a snug fit.

Merrell has had the sport shoe thing wired for a long time. From bouldering to bar hopping, this shoe has your back. Excellent support, secure traction, and durable materials. Inspired modern design. It's a wilderness wingtip--a staple you should have in at least one color, but you'll probably end up having a few. I do agree with some other reviewers that the toe box needs more break-in than usual, but that's the only knock for me!

I am a Merrell fan - I love Merrell shoes, but this one was a bit disappointing. The shoe didn't fit too well (it was about a full size smaller). The "M" emblem is not sewn on very well so it buckles, and it just isn't as comfortable as the other Merrell shoes I own.

Great shoe and very comfortable. I have always been very pleased with Merrell. Toe space is a bit cramped, but some breaking in will take care of that. Other than that, the shoe is perfect.

Super Shoe.
This was my first experience with Merrell; I now gleefully own and wear 5 pair which includes two Intercepts (different colors). IMHO, Merrell makes one of the most comfortable and stylish shoes of its type.

Comfortable walking shoes - I walk my dog 3-5 miles a day, over lots of different kinds of terrain, and these shoes keep my feet comfortable. I wish that they didn't let in the morning dew through the top, but otherwise, I have no complaints.

The shoe fits great, looks great, feels great, and I am very happy. It is a little heavier than I thought it would be, but most likely that is because I usually order running shoes. I wear these everyday and my feet feel great! They look good with shorts, jeans, and casual pants. Very good traction on rough terrain.

This is just the cutest shoe! Styling was fabulous. Unfortunately I ordered an 8 and it was just too narrow in the toe. I really needed an 8 1/2 or even size 9. They did not have an 8 1/2 and I think size 9 just would have looked a little big on my feet. So I could not keep this. If ordering, I would definitely size up at least by half. You won’t regret it if you like stylish, fun shoes.

Bought this shoe for the look, quality, and comfort I have always associated with Merrell. Noticed right off there were some seams on the inner lining that had not been sewn correctly and were not attached. Minor flaws in the mesh outer as well. Biggest problem though was the way the shoe fit against the instep of my foot. Adjustment of insole did not help. I could predict with any amount of long walking or hiking I would have this area wearing on my foot and blistering. Sent them back and will try to find another Merrell model through Zappos. My first experience with Zappos has been great so far other than these shoes.

Great shoe...tight toe - Hoping they break in a bit more, but for now I feel like my toes are being pushed forward a bit in this shoe. Anyone who has ever worn wrong fitting ski boots can relate. I want to keep hitting down on my heel to "set" my foot in better.

VERY nice shoe...
I wear these after working all day in steel toe shoes on concrete. They feel great the moment I slip into them. Very nice to walk around and feel like I haven't been on concrete at all. Highly recommended. A bit expensive, but oh well.

Great all purpose shoe! This shoe looks really great and you can use it in anyway you can imagine. Merrells are very durable and stylish, from day packing to city walking this shoe will fit these activities.

Decent Merrell light-duty shoe -
Not quite what I expected. Although the Merrell quality was there, they don't seem to fit and feel the same as my previous Merrell purchases. They are a lower-cut athletic style and not the same support as the beefier Merrell walker/hiker. Still a nice shoe.

Great walking/day hiking shoe!

Merrell Intercepts In Black -
I like the shoes. Easy to get into and out of. They seem to have a quality build and should last. They have a slightly odd look in that the laces appear to be unusually wide across the top of the shoe as if I am wearing a shoe that is too sizes too narrow. They feel great though.

These are great! Wore them in hot Beijing and they were nice and cool. Very comfortable with no need for break in period. Look is great as well.

These are great, sturdy shoes. However, they didn't quite match my foot type. Still, they are more comfortable than other shoes I have worn. I would recommend them. Just make sure they fit before purchasing.

Great Walking Shoe -
Very comfortable. True to size and width. Went to Europe for 3 weeks and had zero problems with them. They looked good with khaki's or jeans. Great out of the box, no breaking in necessary!

You didn't charge me for faster delivery and the web site was way easy to use.
