I returned a pair of Mephisto's Ubaldino sandals because they were not shaped anatomically. I bought a pair of these and saved over $100. The Merrell Calafina's look almost as good and they are shaped perfectly. Very comfortable to walk in after a short break in period for the toe thong.

The most comfortable flip flops -
This flip flops are great for long walks, they are nicer than your average so you can actually wear them with nice shorts/shirts and or chinos.

Comfortable Flip-Flop -
I'm very glad I ordered the Merrell Calafina (brown) as they're very comfortable right out of the box. They appear to be constructed well enough to offer several years of service before needing replaced, but time will be the final judge of that. The toe thong feels comfortable, not too thick or rough, in fact after an hour of wear, I could no longer tell it was there. The footbed seems molded to help keep the flip-flop from being thrown off the foot with each step and seems to stay firmly planted on my foot without having to toe-grip to keep them on. The Vibram sole grips surfaces well in most conditions, a little slick on wet ceramic tile, but better than I expected.
I wear a size 9.5, but ordered a 9 in these instead of a 10 as there are no half-sizes available. I'm glad I got the 9, the width is right on; as for the length, the back lines up even with my heel without any over or underhang, though the front looks a little long with my stubby toes.

 |  | I have used Zappos for years, but today after ordering my weekly pair of shoes, I was really bored so I decided to take a tour around your website. I visited the "blogs" tab and it was so refreshing. I heard that Zappos was a great place to work; had good group or team cohesion and the employees all were dedicated. The blogs really show that team spirit and dedication as well as the humor that helps run the company. This has to come from the top of the organization and obviously the one at the top knows how to motivate the work force in the right way.
The core values everyone speaks of obviously are felt and not just memorized. I am even more impressed with Zappos now than I was before. I thought you just did a really good job of shipping like lightening and processing my returns the same way. Now I know why all of that works so well. Everyone obviously likes their job or at least their company. It Shows!
I used to live in Dallas, Texas, but 7 years ago we moved to the boon docks 2 hours away so the internet has become my North Park Shopping Center and Zappos is at the top of my shopping list. The only problem I have - your boxes are so recognizable I can't fool my husband any more!
