Collecting Heels and Saving Soles.
I ordered the Sperry Originals on Labor Day and had them in hand a few days later. It had been more the 30 years since I had worn Sperry’s and before that, all I seemed to wear were boat shoes and penny loafers. Putting them on for the first time was like a long overdue homecoming for my feet! They are still so very comfortable and today’s shoe, provides much better arch support than those of 30 years ago. I may have just become reacquainted with my old/new favorite "go to" casual shoe. Thanks for the prompt and courteous service Zappos!

Good looking shoe but rubbed at the heels. After breaking in, did OK. Needed more padding for the ball of the foot but fixed that with an insole pad.

Almost a star -
I have worn this shoe for 25 years, and it is consistently good looking and comfortable. Unfortunately, the size is not as true as it could be. And, keep in mind that the dye used in these shoes will surely stain light colored socks.

Walked the Walk!
Bought these shoes for walking vacation tour. The shoes and my feet held up beautifully. Also wore with blazer for dinner. Very flexible use. Very comfortable. Very good looking.

Overall a good shoe. I always have trouble finding shoes of this style in a wide width so I was happy to locate these. I normally buy Rockport but these are very similar and I think I will be happy with them.

They came freshly polished.
I love the colors. I have a pair of blue and light blue ones as well. The dark brown is great, goes with a lot. The gold eyelets are nice and they are a little stiff. Once you break them in they fit like a glove.

I'm sure most are in agreement on the merits of these classics. I've been through a lot of Topsiders so wanted to mention that this latest pair in "Ice" tumbled leather feel a little more comfortable than the other "Originals" I've gotten. The tumbled leather feels a bit softer and lighter overall and the insole feels a bit spongier. I haven't checked but it'd be great if they made a brown TS with the same leather. As always, great shoes for every day casual (though I prefer Clark's Falcon series for anything beyond light duty) but these particular ones are just a little easier on the feet. The perfect patio shoes.

This shoe is very comfortable for someone who spends a lot of time on their feet. My only dislike is that it seems to pick up dust very easily and appears to age quickly.

Flatfoot-Friendly, as long as you don't need arch support -
I have worn these Sperry Top-Siders since I was in high school, not only because they are such a classic, but also because they are so perfect for my totally flat feet. I can't understand how some of the reviewers say they have excellent arch support, because they don't, but that's fine for me. For guys like me who have no arch at all (feet flat as a board) and can't tolerate any arch support, they are great. Only comment I would make is that they don't seem to last as long as they used to when they were made in the USA. While I would say these are generally true to size, I buy these one size wider than most shoes, but maybe that's because of the flatfoot thing? I wear them until they fall apart--very comfortable.

Original Top-Siders are great.
The original top sider shoe is still the best. Comfortable for walking around town or running errands, and still looks dressy with khakis. You can buy a new pair for dressing up and use the old pair for yard work - they last forever.

Long time Boat Shoe Wearer -
Sperrys are the original boat shoe and I like them the best. Even though my feet are totally flat, and they have no arch support, never any problems. They developed a "beachy" weathered look and I spend time on the beach, ocean, and boat. They are a perfect fit for me. Zappos does a great job on order and delivery, I highly recommend them as any shoe supplier.

My husband was amazed and very happy -
After 6 years my husband wore out his original pair of these shoes. I wanted to surprise him with a new pair, but he wears a 9 Wide and it's very difficult to find this size in stores. I was able to locate the exact shoe in the exact size I needed on Zappos.com and received my shipment in record time. I placed the order on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 18, requesting a 3-day shipping but my order was given special priority processing in Zappo's warehouse and my order shipped out on Monday, December 19th 2005 - 1 business day - no extra charge! I was able to give him his shoes on Christmas Day and he was amazed and very happy that I found the shoes in his size. This is the 3rd pair of shoes I've purchased from Zappos - they aim to please and always hit the mark - meeting or exceeding my expectations! Fantastic and stress-less way to buy shoes.

Unlike the female of the species, most males are interested in very little out of a shoe. They should be comfortable and last a reasonable length of time. Oh, if the shoe looks good that is a plus. The Sperry Top-Sider Amaretto is my shoe. I've been wearing this style for about 15 years and don't want to change. I wasn't too happy when they put the blue spongy thing inside, and even thought it retains water longer than the old plain leather liner I've learned to live with it. When I decided I needed a new pair, well actually my wife usually decides these things; I went to my department store supplier and was told Sperry no longer makes the Amaretto style. Ugh! Thanks Zappos, for getting my shoe for me.

Sperry Top-Sider’s Men's Authentic Original is the best-
Sperry Top Sider’s are the best- in quality, comfort and style. My nephew wears them year in and year out when not at work and I buy him a new pair when the old ones wear out. Top Sider’s exemplify "don't fix it if it isn’t broke." I hope Sperry will continue manufacturing and making Top-Sider’s forever.
