I ordered these Daniel Green slippers for my mother, who turned 84 years (young) recently. They are the "Meg" style in black. My mother won't wear any other slipper but these Daniel Greens; she absolutely loves the style of them. The beauty of them is she's safe wearing these, that's the part that I love about them; as she'll go out to get the newspaper in the driveway and this style is great in or outdoors with the sole that they have, plus her heel is covered; they're not the floppy style. The only place that has every single style of these wonderful Daniel Green slippers is Zappos! I've looked everywhere for this particular style, so hopefully you have them for a long time! I truly appreciate your great website showing all your styles and colors! Also your quick delivery of the slippers as with any other shoe I have ever gotten in the last several years from your company is always within 2 to 3 business days, extremely prompt delivery. Very punctual and so quick! You guys are amazing and so is your staff that handles these shoes on a daily basis, they're terrific! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. These slippers felt true to size, looked great, had a soft, but durable sole. A more durable hard heel would have been a plus, but overall I would buy them again.

5 stars with a caveat -
I’ve worn several pair of these slippers over the years. They're wonderful. I wore them to work one day by mistake (that's how comfortable yet shoe-like). I've worn them home from the hospital as they fit securely and are easy to put on. Recently, however, I had a pair in which the insole in toe area just came loose and bunched up. Zappos replaced them with overnight delivery.

Comfortable Shoe -
Ordered this shoe for my 89 yr old mother. She can't wear shoes with more than a one inch heel. She said they are very comfortable but slip in the heel more than usual. The soles are a bit slick and that worries me. They feel like a slipper but are dressy enough that she wears them to church. Since she wears a 5 1/2 it is VERY hard to find a shoe that small in narrow. She was very happy to get them.

Super Look for a Slipper -
This slipper looks like a shoe. It looks better than most loafers. My only problem with it is that there is not quite enough padding on the inside so it's not quite as cushy on my old bones as I would like it to be. But, I'll suffer a bit just for the great look.

This is a favorite slipper of mine. I've been wearing Daniel Green slippers for about 50 years; and, though I may switch at times, I always seem to go back to Daniel Green slippers.

This slipper looks good, fits very well and is extremely comfortable. I bought the slippers for an elderly person who is extremely happy with the slippers.

An All Purpose Slipper -
This all-purpose indoor slipper suits many needs. It works for the bedroom yet looks fine with casual clothes, too. The only drawback is that it doesn't breathe much, so it may be too warm in the summer.

I always used to buy this slipper. I was told Green had gone out of business. I am delighted to have the slipper. It is expensive but worth it in comfort and use.

These slippers are very comfortable. They have a solid bottom so I can wear them outside. There is no support so I would not wear them anywhere but around the house.

Comfortable slipper -
Comfortable to wear. The sole is the same leather as the upper so probably not good for constant wearing out of doors.

So convenient -
My mother-in-law has been wearing two old pairs of this shoe, 8.5 M and 9 N, but her feet were swollen and the shoes seemed too tight and were really disgusting. She's 95 years old and in a wheel chair, and taking her shopping is practically impossible. I ordered three sizes of this old favorite, tried the 9 W first, and we kept that one. She is very pleased, and the two old pairs went in the garbage! The return process is so easy, even when I had to start over with a new print cartridge. Thank you very much.

Just what I needed -
I bought these slippers to replace my Grandma's favorite pair of black slippers...they ended up being a little narrow for her foot but I got them a size bigger than she needed to compensate for that and they seem to be working well. The only downfall I have really found is that they are so smooth/slick on the bottom they are a falling hazard for my Grandma. I bought the no slip adhesive shoe things that some women use on their high heels and that seemed to give her more traction on the carpet and linoleum. Overall we are very pleased with the slippers!

Good house shoes -
My mother has been looking for these shoes forever - Thanks Zappos! She wears a 10 1/2 narrow or slender and her toes are numb on one foot due to nerve damage - shoes she can wear and keep on her feet are hard to find. She loves these shoes and wears them all the time at home - says they are most comfortable.

I have looked everywhere to replace my mother's old slippers. They were absolutely not available anywhere - that is, until I found Zappos. Now everything is available and with free shipping to boot (no pun intended.) Love you guys.

My mom is so happy!
My mom has been wearing this kind of slipper for years. It used to be you could get it at a store, but no more. Actually, now it's easier! I ordered it for her on-line and received it about a day or two later. Super fast and free shipping - can't get any better than that! I really liked the comfort and sizing of this shoe. It was a true 11 narrow! My only preference is that the sole would have been a bit sturdier. It was too much like a slipper. Other than that it's a great shoe!

Just bought them again because they are so comfortable and fit great! I just wish Daniel Green would take the clue and make the exact same shoe with a hard sole out of these great slippers!!!!! I can and do wear them out as regular shoes and they feel well on all, but the roughest of surfaces.

Exactly what I needed-
After surgery on my leg, I needed shoes that had no heel... to wear to a black tie dinner with evening pants. These were the perfect solution- got a size larger than usual (to deal with swelling from the injury) and they were so comfortable. Looked great, wore them for two dinners in a row, and hardly knew I had them on. They don't look like slippers... very simple, but nice leather- and did I mention, very comfortable?
