These tall boots are very cute and fit well in the foot. However, I have extremely skinny ankles and calves, so they looked too bulky on me. They have to go back. If you've got a bigger ankle and calf area - these are the boots for you. Thanks Zappos - I ordered 7 pair of shoes/boots at 2:30 PM CST Thursday and they were sitting on my doorstep the next afternoon.

Best "Old Friends"
I've been an "Ugg" wearer for many years, and love them. However, I bought a pair of "Old Friend" boots a year ago, and love them even more than my Uggs. They have a good gripping sole, and fit a bit tighter around my ankles and average-sized lower calves, which keeps my feet warmer. The pair I bought still look new despite wearing them in the rain several times. They are red, and have kept their color without fading. My daughter loves her new black O.F., and likes that the black color inside stops at her ankle, then is white, so the color does not come off on her feet. I highly recommend these!

True to size?
I ordered the black and brown in these boots in different sizes, an 11 brown for one daughter and a 9 black for the other daughter. In both I ordered a 1/2 size larger than they actually wear. The 11 boot was fine and fit as I had imagined. The 9 was TOO small, so I returned and ordered a 10, it fit exactly like the 9, too short/small. I had to return it also and now have to wait until they are credited to my account before I can get another size/pair. This is inconvenient as my daughter is desperately wanting to wear them. I am hopeful that the next order/size will fit. My younger daughter loves her brown boots and they appear to be of excellent quality.

Am happy with my Old Friends -
I didn't realize Old Friends made a boot. I have been wearing Old Friends slippers for years, and to be honest the reason I bought them is because I thought they had the look of Ugg boots, and planned on wearing them with jeans. I got myself and also my daughter a pair, I told her that you can't really tell they're slippers when you wear them with jeans. She kinda pooh poohd me about wearing them with jeans out and around, not just around the house. But I don't consider myself a trend setter or follower so I have been wearing my Old Friends for years, out and about. I have had several pairs over the years, and now I see people wearing slippers out and about all the time! And my daughter is one of them! I still wear my slippers out but now I also have something that covers my whole foot. I have to say I love em. And have also had several comments on them and how cute they are.

Stiff in boots -
Sole of this boot does not bend. It is warm but not waterproof.

Great. Better than my Uggs!
I really love these boots and this brand as a whole. I’ve bought two pairs of shoes from them. The sheepskin is just as soft or softer than my Ugg boots. They are made better, too!
