These shoes are actually pretty comfortable, but the brown shown in the photos is quite a bit lighter in person, which I didn\'t like the look of.

I have been wearing this model for a few years now. Lightest, most comfortable safety shoe that I've found in over 35 years of factory work.

Best Work Shoe Ever!
Bought these on a lark as I always bought Merrell. Owned these about a year. Best work shoe I ever owned. Almost felt like a slipper when I first tried it on, it’s that comfortable. I work in TV/film and am on my feet 10-16 hours a day. My feet never had it so good. Support and comfort for long days, just what I need. I am going to pick up a few more styles. The other impressive quality it the tread hardly seems to have worn, no idea what it’s made out of but it lasts and lasts.

Timberland Work Boot -
These shoes have been very comfortable. I spend 10 hours a day on my feet at the job site and have had no pain since getting these shoes. Timberlands can be a little more money, but are definitely worth the cost.

A nicely made pair of shoes. I have to buy wide shoes and ordered the wide size in these as well. They are really not as wide as they could be. Over time the shoe industry seems to have migrated to a narrower standard than ever before and every time a specific shoes moves to a new country for manufacture, something changes and it no longer fits. I am happy with these and when I have them on I am in a plant environment for 8-10 hours of walking on concrete. Holding up fine.

Great shoe for people with narrow feet.
I ordered the Wide version of this shoe, but honestly it is not very wide. Not wide enough for me, at any rate. I would say that if your feet require Wide shoes, to try these locally before buying. They're very comfortable shoes though, too bad about the width.

Timberland's are darn good shoes -
I picked the Timberland Pro Titan Safety Oxford for their light weight and comfort, and I've been very pleased so far. I can wear them all day without discomfort or fatigue.
The fit is like my other brand's size 13.
The reviews I read on Zappos were accurate. Someone mentioned that the laces were skimpy. True, but not a big deal, and the tongue isn't sewn all the way to the uppers, which will result in wet feet if worn in water.
The Zappos service was spot on. The second pair I've ordered with perfect service.
I'll continue to shop at Zappos when looking for new shoes.
And no, I don't own stock in the company :>)

I had previously had this exact style of safety shoe and actually had gotten a better price here in Florida, but that was a seasonal special. Comfortable, long lasting. I'm an Aircraft Mechanic and our company reimburses us for buying our own safety shoes. I ordered from Zappos of few reasons. FREE shipping. No Tax. 100% guarantee. I could not find these safety shoes anywhere around here in 1/2 sizes above size 11. They were shipped promptly. When you are standing on your feet for ten hour shifts, you will not get worn out. Comfortable!!!
My husband has wide feet and a very high arch, and finding shoes that don't hurt his feet is close to impossible...until I found these! He is on his feet all day, on asphalt, and his feet were HURTING. I read other reviews on these and gave them a try, and he says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn. He says his feet feel better wearing them than when he is bare footed! We are impressed, Thank You Zappos!!

Purchase for my husband -
My husband works in machine fabrication and is on his feet on a concrete floor all day. He continuously complained about aching feet/heels and was going through a pair of shoes a month. I ordered these for him and he was skeptical, got wide width. These are incredibly light weight for steel toe & he even wears them around the house. No more complaining about foot pain. The leather does soil quickly and is hard to clean- the brown color is now completely black but the guys in his shop are not into fashion. Very much worth the money and they are holding up well.
