Best Sport Sandals ever!
As with my past pairs of Keens, these are outstanding. Love the color and the fit. This pair did run half a size smaller than previous pairs I purchased. I had to return and reorder several pairs to get the right fit, but let me say ZAPPOS was excellent in accommodating me. Their customer service is world class, the best of the best on the internet. Sum it up, I love Keens, I love Zappos and I have to go order another pair as soon as I wrap up this review.

Very pleased -
I purchased this shoe to wear in and around the water while kayaking and was not disappointed. It is very comfortable and dried quickly. It stayed on securely, even when wet. They do not seem excessively hot, even on days over 90 degrees. I did order 1/2 size up, and the fit was perfect.

My New Favorite Shoes -
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They slip right on, no need for socks. They are really easy to adjust with the elastic cord system. No horrible velcro to deal with. The anti-odor insoles really work. I can wear them outside in hot Florida and they never develop any smell. Since they are waterproof, they are good with our afternoon thunderstorms.
The fit is perfect. I normally wear a wide width, but these fit fine with the average width.

Love my Keens - This is a great shoe. I got a pair when these first came out (in a blue color--nylon material) and I loved those as well. These are a very well made shoe and will stand up to those people who are "hard shoe wearers." I like this leather style better as they look more like a "shoe" rather than a "river sandal." I ordered a 1/2 size up as I find Keens to run slightly smaller. Couldn't be more happy with the shoe or with Zappos. Just ordered another pair of shoes while on the site while reviewing these!!! GO ZAPPOS.

Love these funky, ugly shoes -
Yes--they are clunky looking but so ugly they are cool, ya know? I live in an outdoorsy part of the country, and everybody who is anybody wears these shoes when hiking, trail running, and biking, etc. I recently wore my new Keen Newports all over the Moab, Utah area--hiking, scrambling on rocks, even jumping from rock to rock in a slot canyon near Moab in order to avoid pools of water and this shoe never failed me. I barely even slipped. You get incredibly good traction in this shoe, and they are very hardy and comfortable, too. I did wear them with breathable (non-cotton) ankle socks for extra comfort, which is important when you are outside in the 100 degree heat for 12 hours. This is now my shoe of choice for any outdoor sport. And, these are much more comfortable than the Keen Laguna’s, too--better arch support. Be sure to buy them a half size or a full size larger.

Excellent shoe!
Comfortable from the start and definitely water-worthy. I wore them ww rafting on the Deschutes River in central OR and they were great. Handled the slippery rocks and rocky beaches well, too. As for size, if you are truly your size (i.e. in my case 7.5), then get that size. They are cut exactly to fit, not small. I ordered an 8 in another pair of Keens b/c of the site recommendations, and they were enormous.

Excellent Shoe -
If you're looking for fashion rather than substance in a summer shoe, this may not be the one for you. However, this shoe, like so many other Keen styles, is well designed, manufactured comfortable and the overall fit is extraordinarily, foot conscience. If you're a new Keen owner, you may need to sample sizes before finding a true fit, but when you do it's generally consistent across the Keen family of product and so too is the comfort factor. For me, this shoe ROCKS!

Comfy, but sore pinky toe -
I love Keens. They are comfy and wide enough for my chunky feet. There is just one issue I have with Newports. The way that the shoe fits my foot - it rubs against my pinky toe (right where the toenail and the toe meet). Ouch! I think this is just a problem with my feet. I would recommend (like everybody else) ordering up 1/2 size. I usually wear an 8.5, but I had to get a 9 in these. Overall this is a great shoe - and my guess is that the rubbing issue is just with me. As always, Zappos is great. If only everybody did business like they do!

Outstanding!
These shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day with comfort and proper ventilation. They are cool. I chose "Plum Kitten" and they match with everything from shorts to my skorts, dresses, and skirts. They are fantastic gardening and hiking shoes. I will be getting some in a brighter color. I can tell these shoes are going to last a lifetime. 5 stars!

These shoes are going to be my summer road shoes... cool in summer, but supportive enough for walking. I think they will be great, but warning that they can be a bit stiff - they caused blisters on the first wearing. Service from Zappos was first-rate though!

A blessing for sore feet -
I first purchased a pair of these in a small out of town shoe store upon recommendation of a business associate I was calling visiting. I wear size 15, the store had 'em and I bought 'em and carried them on the plane! They are wonderfully comfortable. Upon arriving at home, my wife saw them and we guessed that based on the way mine were built, the sandals might work for her. We ordered from Zappos just before a Cape Cod vacation - they came in two days! My wife has arthritis and serious callous issues with her feet. She actually almost lives in expensive running shoes because they have excellent support and a wide footbed. These sandals are a dream come true for her. She can wear them for unlimited periods of time. Great fitting sandal at a decent price and very well made. Waterproof, too!

WOW! These are the best fitting sandals I've ever tried. It's like they were made for my feet. Not to mention the customer service -- which was spectacular. First word uttered when first putting on shoes: WOW.
The shoes are the BEST. As soon as I put them on, I just knew that these were going to be comfortable. And they were. No breaking-in time. I walk in these shoes daily -- up (and down) hills for at least an hour a day. They give me great support, much more than I would have guessed from the looks of the shoe. These are my first pair of Keens, and I'm hooked. (And the order experience with Zappos.com is fantastic, as usual.)

More a shoe than a sandal -
I like this shoe with a few reservations. It's comfortable and fits well. But I find it a bit heavy and the solid sole is hard on my plantar fasciitis. Will wear it for short hikes.

These are extremely comfortable, durable, and really cute. They come in a multitude of colors and I actually found my size. Shoes usually stop at size 10, but I wear a 10 1/2. I highly recommend them.

My favorite ever!!!
This is my 3rd pair of Newports and my 7th pair of Keens! I wear the Newports for everything, including walking across a creek and gardening. I love the Shitake/Rose color and am trying to keep them nice for running around town, so I wear my old ones for the real messy stuff!

Ugly, but comfortable -
Well, I've owned prettier shoes, but not many that are as comfortable.
Excellent for relaxed activities, say, a walk in the woods or a trip to the ballgame. Plenty of space to wiggle your toes - though I'd welcome more arch support (I have high arches). Zappos, as always, shipped the shoes per lightning speed, they have to be the best internet dealer ever. Woo-woo!

Once again, Keens are wonderful, comfortable without a break-in period. I will be ordering more in different colors. These are truer to my shoe size than ones ordered in the past. Love them...wear them for work and hiking.

 |  | My first time ordering from Zappos was a breeze. I am a regular internet shopper, so the ordering process was easy. What really impressed me though, was the service. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes on an evening after I got home from work, and the very next day when I got home the shoes were already there. I was totally shocked. I live in Alabama and I knew there was not a Zappos warehouse in the area. But the shoes were there and they looked and fit perfectly. I am a tall woman with large feet, so it’s normally hard to find shoes to fit me. I was so pleased with the shoes and the service that I started looking for more shoes the same day. I know I will be shopping with Zappos very often in the future. Keep up the good work guys.
