What fantastic customer service! As soon as I clicked submit on my order, the great Zappos staff must have processed my order as it arrived the next day. Wow! The mule seems to be a cross between a slipper and a shoe, which can be handy when I need to take my dog outside at night for a quick visit to the nearest tree! The mules are very comfortable. I usually wear women's size 9 1/2 or 10 and the men’s medium was a perfect fit. I bought the men’s because I like the red color.

Cool look, snug fit and a little squeaky - Probably about a full size smaller than true size. I ordered a half a size larger, but I think because the shoe fits really snug, I could have gone another 1/2 size larger. I thought maybe once the shoe was broken in a bit they might fit better. So far that's not the case. They do squeak just a little as well.

Don't buy just 1 pair!
Thanks to Zappos I was able to return the first pair and get the size that was right. I was so pleased; I ordered a second pair in another color. These shoes look and feel great! And no squeaks! Zappos is the model for customer service that others should try to emulate. Thanks Zappos for great service and Puma for a great shoe!

Lightweight, running shoes -
It’s really hard for me to put these on...like suit shoes...but after they're on, they fit okay. Still narrow on the forefoot...I don't recommend for long walking. Looks are great except that when I walk, the shoes fold and make folded lines on top...it's kinda annoying because I bought shiny silver ones that also made squeaky sounds...I’m gonna try and put some oil on it...Vaseline doesn't work it, dries up too quickly, but overall it's very sharp looking and makes me feel good when running.

I decided to chance it by buying a pair. As soon as I got them, I tested it out. The squeaking noise you get from just walking is unreal. It's loud, annoying and definitely noticeable. I cannot believe Puma would release such shoes. It's terribly noisy. It was comfortable enough and looked ok.

Great shoe!!
As soon as you try them you'll feel how fast these shoes are...I think they are great for running and they look great! ...my Usan didn’t have any squeaky noise so I don't know why everyone writes about this shoes being squeaky... Buy them you won't regret them and if you do -send them back!

I bought the grey ones and I can wear them with everything. They are sporty but look great with cords and jeans--better than the black and white ones, I think.

It hurts to look this good -
For a tennis shoe, this is not the most comfortable fitting shoe in the world, but it looks so good that I'll deal with the uncomfortableness. It doesn't hurt, it's just uncomfortable.

Squeaky, but easily fixed and worth the effort.
I love, LOVE these shoes. The style is perfect for casual and semi-casual clothing. They're light, but the sole still provides enough support. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, they can be very squeaky when new. It sounds crazy, but rub a little Vaseline onto the removable insole where it rubs against the leather and the squeak goes right away!

Stylish and comfortable shoe -
The construction of this shoe helps guide your foot through a more normal walking pattern, which didn't win my friends over - but I love it. A bit stiff in the tongue - just don't tie the shoe very tight until worn in.

Extremely squeaky and it is great that Zappos has free returns. Puma should have never let these go to market.

Very hot looking sneaker! Noise that would make you laugh!!! Like a wet flip-flop. I think because it’s leather in and out. If there was a fabric on the inside, it would be fine. I can’t believe Puma let these off the line...

Order half size to 1 size bigger -
Love the shoe, NOT squeaky at all I guess I don’t have the same problem as everybody else. I wear an 11.5 and I ordered a 12, a little snug but after wearing them a couple times they fit perfect.

The shoe is comfortable and stylish, but man, what's with the squeaking? Was it bad enough to make me return them specifically for it? Probably not, but they ended up being at least one full size smaller than marked. I typically wear a 9.5 across the board and I couldn't honestly fit into these. The squeaking will probably go away after a few times wearing them but I opted to go with Adidas Samba Millenniums when I exchanged them.

The squeaker!
I love the look of this shoe and it fits great. Unfortunately, they are VERY squeaky. I'm returning them for another (quieter) style.

I really like the clear outer sole. I have been wearing them for a day, and they're very comfortable, but they are a little squeaky, I hope that goes away over time. Besides that, they are a great pair of shoes.

We really appreciate it! Your company is terrific. Great products, great service, and a return policy that can't be beat. I always check Zappos first to see if I can get our shoes there. I only go elsewhere if you don't happen to have a particular style, which doesn't happen often! Now that you sell all white New Balance sneakers (and I love how well that brand fits and holds up), I know where I'm going to get all of my daughter's school shoes! You already had the Sperry dusty bucks (another great brand), but with Zappos selling both of her uniform shoes, we're set with Zappos. And you almost always have the sizes in stock, so I can buy the next two sizes for her, since her feet seem to grow so fast! Therefore I always have the next size ready for her.
