Love the look, but this shoe is terribly uncomfortable. Blisters. Props to Patagonia though; they took the shoe back 3 months after I had bought them, and worn them, with no problem.

Love this shoe! They are wide and stay on my foot! Great to slip on when it rains, and I get so many compliments! Love them so much I have them in three other colors!

Handy for traveling. Toe box is bigger than normal and heels don't slip. True to size for me. I needed to stretch one of the shoes to accommodate a bunion.

Shoes are comfortable but need socks. They rubbed blisters without them. I have a very narrow heel (used to be 4 A) and they only slip slightly. They look good with jeans or casual pants for work. Shipping was so fast they arrived the next day!

I splurged on these shoes to take traveling with me when I go to Latin America. I wanted something that I could walk long distances around the cities during the day and do some light hiking, but I could use as 'dress' shoes when I wanted. The shoes fit and feel great, though they get very hot. The support and traction is great. The only problem with the sugar and spice color is that the rubber sole would rub on them and leave marks, and they also became really dirty under the rubber slip on, so I would not want to wear them without the rubber slip on. Also, I snagged one of the rubber snaps getting out of a car and it broke off! I was surprised that they were not more durable, they won't be going on the trip after all. Great shoe, but I would get a different color than the sugar and spice.

I love the look of this shoe, unfortunately, I couldn't find a size to fit. I ordered a half size down and it slipped off both my feet. Then, I tried a full size, but that was just a bit too tight, so I have to send them back. Still, it felt like it would be an extremely comfortable walking shoe and offered great arch support.

I love the casual look in these shoes but they are very wide. I ordered a half size smaller, based on reviews, and they slip off my feet. I'm going to try a 5.5, a full size smaller and see how that works. I wish they were available in a narrow.

I ordered these shoes because I wanted a comfy, flat shoe that wasn't too athletic-looking. This shoe fits the bill perfectly!!!! These have become my new favorite shoes. I wear them with capris and jeans, without socks. They do run a bit large, after reading the reviews; I ordered a 7.5, a half size smaller than my regular size. They are also, just a tad loose in the heels, but not loose enough to slip off. They are very stylish; I get many compliments on them. May be a bit over priced.

This is my 4th pair, meaning I have the black, the olallaberry, juniper berry, and now, the velvet brown. This is my go to shoe when running shoes are not acceptable to wear. LOVE THEM! I now want the brown pair. Have not had the broken straps problem in any of the shoes but the black pair I did send back because of puckering of the leather on the right shoe, my replacement pair was fine. The arch support is wonderful that I do not need to add my orthotic.

Very practical!
I love the look of this shoe...and also how the rubber sole can be removed. Very useful after playing in the mud with my 2 y.o. (and saves me from having to wear Crocs!):) However, they are not as comfy as I had hoped. It took 3 tries to get the right size...and the heel is still loose fitting. I thought they would be more 'sneaker comfy', but the aren't. They don't breath at all with bare feet....I am currently searching for a good pair of "no show" socks to help with that.

Nice but pricey -
I bought these because I need shnippers (shoe/slippers). They are comfortable and do tolerate my tromping outside in the rainy am to get my paper (usually from under my car). BUT I think the price is pretty high for what they are. The only structural complaint I have are the plastic "buttons" that hold the two shoes (or the inner and outer pieces) together. They are VERY hard to work in and out of the "button holes" and I wonder how many times I can take the outer part off before the button just breaks off...we'll see!

Great shoes, even though the fit is a little strange. They're very loose in the heels, but a half insole in the front snugs them up in the back. I ordered a half size up after reading reviews, but exchanged them for my usual size. I love the way they look, their two-parts - though I'm not sure I will ever wear the inside slipper alone - and the fact that Patagonia, an environmentally responsible company, makes them.

High quality product -
This shoe is made of high quality leather and feels as if it will wear exceptionally well. The shoe's design puts a uniquely modern twist on a classic design. The shoe runs a little long, but true to size on width. Unfortunately, the true to width part caused me some discomfort as my feet are rather wide. Initially, there was some discomfort as I broke the shoe in, but now it is very comfortable though I do hear some squeaking now and then when wearing both outer and inner portions of the shoe. If Patagonia were to offer the "connector tabs" in different widths as an accessory, this would allow a great deal of width customizations by the customer. Different colors would be fun, too.

Love this shoe!
Super cute & comfortable! Runs wide and large. I usually wear an 8, but had to exchange for a 7 1/2 in this shoe. Still a little wide, but do-able. Squeaks a tiny bit when I walk with the outer cover on. Despite the width and slight squeak, I love these shoes and wear them frequently.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Try Keen brand - also super comfy, but also wide!

Cute shoe but seems slightly larger than sized. The toe box is wide and comfortable but detracts a little from cute and casual look. The green and black color combo is very nice.

These shoes are so cute, and I love the idea of a ballet shoe with an optional rubber outer, but they are TOO wide. I have tried several pairs, and sent them all back. They are just not a normal size...too bad!

Fabulous shoe. Great patent leather shine. Take note - the dark red is DARK red and they do show toe cleavage (in case that bothers you). Sizing is good. Looks very classy. I love the Sofft brand for a classy, comfortable look at work (including lots of walking to and from).

Difficult sizes - Yes, these ARE the coolest shoes ever. What an awesome concept and fantastic shape for each style. BUT, I have never had such an unfortunate experience. The 8 was too small (crunching my toes) and the 8.5 was too big (flopping!). I've never had such a problem. I ordered these shoes, exchanged them, then exchanged them again back to the first size (thinking the first try was a fluke, and crossing my fingers). After shipping three pairs of shoes I gave up. Would be AWESOME if they fit!!!

 | | Thank you very much... I just went to the door and there were my beautiful new blue slides. I can't believe I received them less than 24 hours after I ordered them. Service, service, service. Your people know what is the most important thing to do to bring customers back time after time after time. You can have an excellent product, but if the customer doesn't feel important, it makes no difference what one is selling. Too bad more people in the business world don't apply
