I love these sandals! No break in time at all. I wear them with everything: dress, skirts, pants, capris. The construction and materials are high quality. If you have a wide big toe, they may not fit as well. I have slightly narrow feet and toes, and I have a small finger space in the toe strap.

I ordered the lilac in 9.5. The shoe is true to size. When I'm out and about I need to look down to make sure I didn't step out in my slippers. This shoe is very comfortable. You won't be sorry if you buy them.

Very comfortable and look great with jeans, shorts, and skirts. It took a little while to get used to the ring around my toe, but now that I have, I wear these all the time.

These sandals are the most comfortable ever. I have flat feet and feel that these offer support. The sole is thick and feels like that of a tennis/walking shoe. I got the gray. The sandal has a relaxed look and goes great with my sweat pants.

A little bit hippie -
I got these in burnt red and they're really cute. They are definitely different from any other sandal I've ever worn. I haven't worn these out yet, but I can tell they will be really comfortable and, as always, the quality is apparent. I'm usually either a 7.5 or an 8 in Frye shoes, and I ordered a 7.5 based on other reviews and the sizing is perfect. These sandals make my feet feel a little naked, but will be great for our hot, humid summers. All in all, another winner from Frye.

These are great shoes for troubled feet. I should know since I use to buy several pairs of sneakers in a 6 month period because my feet grew too use to the shoe. I still have these after wearing them last year. They have air flow and keep your feet cool. I know these are for runners but I am on my feet all day and they are great!!!

Gorgeous, but not for my feet -
These are lovely shoes, but the two straps were just the wrong size for my feet. The large strap over the foot was very loose while I could barely squeeze my big toe through the toe loop! My feet look pretty "normal", but I guess my big toe is little larger than average. Very sad because they are beautiful, well made shoes. If you buy them, be prepared to send them back! FYI, I'm usually between a 9 and a 10, but the footbed of the size 9 fit me perfectly.

Fabulous but they stretch!
These are my first pair of Frye sandals and I'm very pleased. They are well made, great looking and comfortable. The style of this shoe took some getting used to since it is unlike anything I had ever worn before, but after wearing them once or twice I found them to be just as easy to walk in as any other flip-flop type sandal. My only complaint is that the two bands that hold the foot in place have stretched out a bit. My feet are narrow to begin with, so they have become a little too loose. This problem is to be expected since the straps are leather, but for that reason I would recommend this style to those with average to wide width feet. I love my Frye sandals despite the loose straps and I think I will be wearing them for many summers to come.

I also have been looking for a pair of sandals that I love for a long time... I think I found them. These are ridiculously comfortable and well made. Much better made than my Clarks, more streamlined (and possibly more comfy) than my Birks. I am a true 7 and my feet fit perfectly, but a 6.5 would have been a big mistake, I'm sure there would have been overhang. If you have wide feet or high insteps these might not work. My feet are bordering on wide, and these work. Much cuter on feet than in pictures. It's an investment, if you can find them on sale like I did, it's totally worth it. Might still be worth it without a sale!

Perfect find after years of searching - I love these shoes. I have purchased at least 10 other sandals in the past 2 years – trying to find a replacement for the ones I wear almost every day. I kept wearing my old, worn out ones instead of my other new ones, until these. Finally a sandal that's perfect! Twice, people have commented on how cute my feet are (and I'm a size 10 – no one's ever said I had cute feet before). I do notice my foot, just above my little toe, is slightly wider than the shoe, but it doesn't seem to look too small or affect its comfort. I got the dark brown – thinking about getting them in black.

Glad I ordered this shoe! I have been looking for a stylish and versatile, yet comfortable sandal that would work with many outfits and that would allow me to walk for many hours comfortably – and this one is a winner! I normally wear a 6.5 and the 6 fit better for me – though this is usually the case with sandals. The rubber sole takes the pressure off the pounding pavement, and the leather and simple style keeps it dressy. The band (not the toe ring) only gave me a blister the first time I wore them and the band does stretch out a bit...might not be a bad idea to size a half size down if you can. All in all I am very happy with this shoe. I wish there were more like this one. Thanks Zappos!

Convenience of flip-flops, cuteness of designer sandals -
I ordered these in cognac. They came and are even cuter than pictured. I am borderline 9-9.5 - ordered the 9.5 and am really glad I did, from a length perspective.
Fit my average-width foot perfectly (not loose, not tight) out of the box. These are still very new - hope middle strap doesn't stretch out too much with lots of use like another reviewer said it might (if it does I'll write another review). Way cuter and more unique than a flip-flop (if perhaps a very, very tiny bit less secure on foot).

Must have - SOO Comfortable and Cute!
I was so shocked because usually these types of sandals feel like you are walking on plywood with no support. The rubberized bottom gives flexibility to the sole and softens your step. Provides moderate arch support which is amazing considering the style of sandal.

Love love love this shoe -
This is SUCH a comfortable shoe. I was worried that the toe ring would end up hurting or blister my big toe but it doesn't at all. I can walk around all day in it and the soles are very comfy. I would however order a size down. I usually wear a 6.5 and I got the 7, but they stretch a teeny bit. I would have been perfect if I had gotten the 6 and broken them in a little. Either way, I am still happy with what I have, the don’t stretch enough to make me regret getting the 7.
