These boots are hot! The style is amazing and the color is really rich. They almost look black because it's such a rich, deep purple. If you're a half size, go up in size. I wear an 8 1/2 and the 9's are perfect. I didn't have any trouble getting the boot on, but I can see if you have a wider foot where you would. The leather is a little stiff, so they will take some breaking in, but all worth it! Amazing customer service from Zappos.

LOVE THESE BOOTS! I disagree with the other reviews. These boots are not difficult to get on if you are wearing socks or tights. And the fact that you CAN wear socks and hide them in the boot means you can wear them when it’s very cold out! Also, I am short, and booties usually make my legs look even shorter, but not these shoes! Since the ankle is wider than most booties, my legs appear thinner!

Hot boot but poor fit -
Like the other person who also wrote a review, these boots were super hot but I had to struggle to get them on. They don't have any kind of zipper, elastic or any give at all, so I’m not sure how the average person is expected to put the boot on comfortably! It definitely doesn't slip on. Once I finally got them on, they were super narrow in the front so my foot was pretty squished. I am returning them which is unfortunate as they were very cute but definitely not worth the pain.

Super hot boot that just does not fit...
I ordered a size 41 - this has worked for me in the past with flat miss sixty boots. After it arrived, I tried it on, and could not get my foot fully into the boot. The toe box was so narrow - the leather did not give one bit. I have medium wide feet, and I can normally squeeze into B width shoes/boots. Unfortunately I will be returning these - they are very well styled and would have worked well with most any outfit.
