Generally, any Clarks shoe is high in comfort level. The Clarks Samana is not bad, but I’d definitely not put it in the same category as all Clarks shoes. However, it is not uncomfortable. It's okay. The look is very mod and up to date, really great looking if you go for that look. It has sort of coin/metallic appliqués (where you see them), each color matching the individual shoe. The leather is a sort of crinkly sort of leather, the champagne color has a slightly metallic tinge, but the others not. The blue would go great with denim wear. One important thing you should be aware of is that it runs very small. I know some reviewers mentioned it, so I ordered a 6.5 and a 7.0, (I’m usually a 6.5 or even 6) I could barely get my foot into the 7, but thought it would give a little. At the end I had to return them. I still wish to purchase it, but if I do, I will have to buy the size 7.5, a full size larger than usual. The 7 would most likely stretch, but it was just too uncomfortable and tight to break it in. But if the fit is good, the comfort should be fine. Heel height is not too high, but it looks great on and looks higher than it actually is. Clarks Artisan collection shoes are generally more funky than the regular Clarks line, and this one fits the bill. But I think anyone can wear it and you can dress it up or down. It’s definitely a unique look.

Great style -
I have quite a few Clarks shoes so felt pretty confident ordering my usual size. However, when I received these they felt a bit narrow and not long enough. They have a rim around the heel area so it was evident that the shoe was too short. I returned them and bought a half size larger and they fit pretty well. My foot seems to twist a bit in the shoe but they are still comfortable enough for me and are a great look. I love the silver conchos on the shoe and they look great with jeans; I have the black ones. I love shopping on Zappos! They are so FAST and make the experience truly enjoyable--that's hard to find in online shopping. I also appreciate shoppers sharing their feedback and makes ordering easier (but I didn't follow the advice with this purchase and should have). I will continue to shop at Zappos as I have limited time to shop and I don't care if I have to pay full price, though the sales are nice. Thanks!!

I'm short and I have flat feet, so I think because of these 2 reasons, these sandals don't work for me. They look and feel comfortable, but when I try to walk in them, I don't feel very stable. Plus, they look good only with long pants, I cannot wear them with shorts or short skirts. I guess it works better for a taller person. Anyway, they are not elegant or sexy shoes (as the name say they are "Artisan"). I would keep them if they were cheaper, but not for this price. Otherwise, the Zappos experience was great! I would definitively buy from them next time.

Samana sandals -
Great looking sandal, stays on your foot, and doesn't make a lot of slapping sounds. Love it. Would not want to walk 6 miles in them, but very comfortable, fits like a glove compared to most slip on sandals.

I got these to wear with a skirt to a wedding reception. They are cute & comfortable, with a bit of a gypsy/western look. I especially like the white leather sole. When I order from Zappos, I order a couple of sizes of the same shoe, knowing I can easily return the wrong one for free. I had to get a half size larger in this. They're comfortable right out of the box.

Clarks is the BEST!!! I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis several months ago. My husband and I were planning a trip to New York to trace his family tree at Ellis Island. So, I was really concerned about finding a comfortable shoe to wear for all the walking and site seeing. I ordered Clarks Samana in white and black. While wearing my Clarks Samanas not only did we tour Ellis Island, we toured the Empire State building, Statue of Liberty, and saw two Broadway plays. I absolutely love Clarks Samana. I 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for a beautiful comfortable shoe. I am a fan forever!!!

Comfortable and Stylish -
This sandal is comfortable as expected from a Clarks shoe, but it is also stylish. Looks great with jeans and capris.

This shoe is really comfortable... for those gals who want a "dressy" looking shoe that isn't too high, this one is perfect! I got the gold/champagne color and then went back for the metallic blue! Did go up a 1/2 size like a lot of the other reviewers and am glad I did. I normally wear a 5.5 and the 6 fit perfectly!

Great sandal - After reading the reviews of this shoe and the concern that it may fit a bit narrow, I ordered a half size up. My feet are a size 7 wide. When I ordered the 7.5 the width felt comfortable and worked for my foot type! I love the metallic color (ordered the blue) and think it looks great with jeans!!!

I really loved the look of the shoe. It is true to size and fairly comfortable. It took time to get used to top as it rubs on my foot, but all around very comfortable.

Listen to all reviews that tell you to buy a 1/2 size up. The champagne has a soft metallic sheen which is pretty, but I'll probably send back these size 8s and try the whites in 8 1/2. Or maybe the blue. No white... Here I go again.

Comfort & style -
Clarks Artisan shoes seem to be narrower than their other styles, which is a good thing if you have narrow feet like I do. The shoes also have great arch support. They were really comfortable right out of the box, but they feel better each time I wear them. And they are so stylish - with jeans or a dress. Great shoes.

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I got them in black and am considering getting them in white. I have received numerous compliments about the look but more than that they are truly comfortable. I did go up a 1/2 size but they are like wearing my sneakers!!!

Nice but could be better -
Very attractive sandal but the color is a bit different than the photo; a very metallic blue. I bought them thinking that the leather had a denim dye look but it is really the metallic sheen - nice but not what I was expecting. Still, it looks good with jeans. Be forewarned, it is a little narrow around the ball of the foot, not as comfortable as my many other Clark's Artisan sandals. The heel is still cushy, and overall, it has that great funky sophisticated look that is part of this line.

In every way. They are so cute, a unique style and extremely comfortable. I could not believe it when I put my feet into these sandals, I felt like I was walking on pillows. Exceeded my expectations -
After foot surgery a few months back I was eager to get in to a heel, so tried this trusted brand in a wedge. I'm happy to report that the shoes continued to feel great and comfortable after several hours of standing and walking.

What a great lookin' comfortable sandal!
Got these in black w/ silver studs. Read reviews about them being slightly narrower than expected. They are slightly! I have a med foot but a high instep and I did have to bend the shoes a little and work the leather a little but they fit beautifully now and they are so comfortable. They definitely wouldn't work if you have a wide foot. Thanks Zaps!
