AWESOME SHOE -
I think these are some awesome shoes, with me working outdoors they held up to the water puddles. I liked them so much I purchased me and my sister another pair for the next winter season. I think they rock...

Great idea, but we'll see...
These run a full size too big. I am usually 8.5-9 and the 8's fit perfectly. They are delightfully cushiony and look good with black pants.
The thick tongues are a bit worrisome, and I hope they soften over time, because they might be irritating to my insteps otherwise.
I was delighted to find nice looking black shoe-boots that are cushioned and waterproof. I hope they work over time.

Disappointing -
I bought this shoe in my normal size 7 but it feels like a size 8. The tongue of the shoe is much too wide and thick and presses down on the top of my foot. After about an hour of wearing the shoe the top of my foot is very painful. Too bad I am unable to return them as I won't be wearing them as much as Id hoped to.

Waterproof -
These are really good looking for waterproof shoes. I got the red ones and I like looking down at them! They're reasonably comfortable, although as a previous reviewer noted, the tongue is rather unwieldy and tends to press down on the top of the foot. I imagine this is the price of waterproofness though. I've worn them through deep puddles and can testify that they are indeed watertight. I like these very much.

Comfortable they are not -
This is the first pair of 'ugly' shoes I've ever bought. I tried them on at the store & figured I'd put up with their ugliness because they were so comfortable. BUT, after about an hour they become unbearable & I have to take them off. There doesn't seem to be any support in the sole of the shoe & I feel like I'm walking on rocks! I'm not sure if its because the shoes came from an outlet or what, but the left shoe does not seem to be the size I thought I purchased (even though it is labeled as such).

Clarks Etna -
Just what I was looking for! I don't recall finding these shoes when I did a search under "waterproof" but they truly are. I needed something to slip into when walking on rainy days - these shoes are perfect. My feet keep nice and dry. I wear a wide shoe due to my bunions but these run wide and fit perfectly. I got them in red and they are nice looking as well. Nice job Clarks!

A very comfortable casual shoe. After reading the other reviews I ordered the 6 though I would usually wear a 7. Fit great. However, they do squeak. Don't quite know what to do about that.

Very comfy but a little big -
I bought these several months ago and have been very satisfied. Thanks to a helpful salesperson at the Clarks store and the online reviews, I knew that they ran a little big and ordered half a size smaller -- perfect fit. I was looking for a winter boot but decided on these instead. Theyre not the most stylish pair of shoes I own, but they're super comfortable and keep my feet dry during rains. Worn with a pair of thick or wool socks, they also keep my feet warm and snug during cold days. One negative aspect is the tongue, which is stitched into the shoe. I had to make the laces a little tighter to get a snug fit, so the tongue bunched up and dug into my foot, which was uncomfortable and hurt a little. But this has been less of a problem now because I try to wear thicker socks and Ive broken them in a bit. Overall, Id describe them as a rain-sneaker. This was my first pair of Clarks, but think I now may become a regular customer!

Clark's Etna -
I bought these shoes because I needed something waterproof. They look very nice and everybody notice them. Etna shoes protect your feet against water but not cold, so in winter you might need warmer socks. What worries me that the rubber is detaching from leather in front and on sides but water still doesn't get inside. It's comfortable after a day or two walking but at first they skin my feet.

Great winter boot -
I bought these as an alternative to tall winter boots (which I find too clunky). These Clarks boots have been wonderful, extremely comfortable and light weight. I bought them in red in have received numerous compliments. I give them an A and I don't grade out A's easily. I bought them a 1/2 size smaller than my typical size and they fit perfectly.

Really uncomfortable -
This Privo shoe is great looking but very heavy and uncomfortable; too wide in the heel and tight across the front of my narrow foot.

Clarks Etna Waterproof Shoe -
These are the best waterproof shoes I have ever had and I have had a lot of them. They are completely waterproof, warm, very comfortable and lightweight. I would say the fit is roomy. Heavy socks make them very comfortable.

Comfy shoe -
I usually wear an 8.5 and in most shoes have to go up to a 9 if half sizes aren't available. Not so with this shoe. I bought an 8 and it fits perfect. It's very comfortable with a cushioned foot bed.

Comfort with Dry Feet -
This a wonderfully comfortable shoe! I've worn them in Colorado snow & Seattle rain & runoff. Traction is great and my feet stay warm and dry. After a few wearings the tongue conforms to the instep and is very soft and form fitting. Wear black socks the first few times. Clarks needs to address the problem of the black dye it uses in linings running. I had the same problem with a pair of Clarks's boots. The dye runs and turns white socks blue-black on the heels. I've had numerous compliments on these shoes.

Best comfort shoe ever.
Excellent shoe to put on after a full day of work in heels. The reviewer who said they squeaked was right, although mine crunch! They do make noise when you step down, but the comfort makes it worth it. I think it's the insole. That's why the overall rating was a 4. They are as cute on as they are in the picture. I'm waiting for the brown to become available in my size. They do feel a half size larger, but that just means I can put them on with thick socks - if we ever get normal Dec weather here in NY. I love them.

Fabulous, stylish all-weather shoes -
I love the fit and weather-resistance. They're very cute, and accomodate thick socks for the winter. I think they run a little large, so I ordered 1 size down and they're still quite comfy. Perfect for rainy California weather.

Extremely comfortable -
Love these shoes, they fit perfectly (I have a somewhat narrow foot) and are extremely comfortable. Regarding fit, they may run large, as Im a 10.5, and these are a 10 and don't feel too tight, which is unusual for me (I usually have to order 11's because most manufacturers don't make 10.5's). Ive already worn these shoes in the pouring rain, and my feet stayed completely dry. The only problem, and it's significant, is that my socks have some dark ink from the inside of the shoe when I take the shoes off. This happens every time I wear the shoes, and regardless of whether they get wet or not. The stains don't come out in the wash. Im going to try to contact Clarks to find out what to do. I don't want to return the shoes for this reason because I love them in every other way.

Clarks Etna -
I am a disappointed in these shoes. I always love Clarks but these shoes are hard and uncomfortable. The "tong" of the shoe, right under the shoelace is not very soft to bend and so it feels like you have this huge thing stuck on your foot and it is difficult to close the shoelaces because of this bulk. The also were bigger than marked and I will have to wear really fat socks with them. I hope I can break them in and get some use of them.

Clarks Etna -
From the minute I put these on the first time, I loved them. I have narrow feet and with light weight socks, they fit perfectly. I wore them all day the first time---my feet didn't hurt and they were comfortable. I don't wear anything except Clark's--they are great shoes! I hate going to a mall to shop, so I love Zappos! Thanks.

Comfort personified-
These shoes fit like slippers, cushy and comfortable and right from the first wearing. I have had trouble with Clarks waterproof shoes in other models separating between the leather and rubber, these seem to have fixed that problem, they're so far 100% waterproof and seem solid as a rock. Great shoes!

I like this shoe!
I wanted a shoe that could take regular exposure to water and mud. This does the trick! I really wanted red, but, as it was not available in my size, opted for the green color, which is probably just as well, since I think I will be wearing them quite a bit. I've been out on several rainy, muddy days and my feet have remained nice and dry! I have only one minor complaint - the sole is a little too soft - I like a bit more support than this offers. Otherwise, the shoe is very well constructed and I really like the looks.
