I love this boot! I was having a hard time finding a tall boot that fit comfortably and looked good on me. I am 5'4" and have short legs. My calves are a shapely 15". I can usually squeeze into the "regular" size shaft boots, but wanted try the wide shaft to compare the feel. The zipper went right up with a little room to spare, but not enough to look sloppy. As a teacher, I think I will be pretty comfortable in these boots if I wore them all day. This boot stops in the perfect spot on my leg, right below my knee. Most tall boots I have tried seem to go all the way up or past my knees, making me appear even shorter. If you are petite with shapely legs, I think this boot will be perfect for you. The leather seems of good quality and I feel the price is worth it. I usually wear a 7 and a half, but I ordered an 8. It was a perfect fit.

These are really great boots with the perfect heel. I love them. They are dressy enough for church yet safe to use in bad weather. They have enough room for wearing warm socks too.

These boots are great, fits true to size and width. They are very comfortable and soft on the inside, can be worn with skirts or jeans. I have had a hard time finding my size when it comes to shoes, but at Zappos I found them. Also Zappos, you guys are great, excellent customer service. You are the first online shoe store I have bought from, and I think I'm hooked. Oh and did I say next day delivery, awesome. Thanks Zappos.

I have a long wide foot and my size is difficult to find. I was so happy to find a size 13. The service was speedy and the boots fit beautifully. The wide width allows for socks in the cold northern winters. The boots are well-made and stylish. This is a real lady's boot. Thank you for having these hard to find sizes.

Great boots!
Looks just like the photos. They were a slight squeeze for my 17" calves, but a Google search for tips on stretching leather did the trick and didn't harm the boot. Some kind of insert is a must - I used to wear only Danskos, but now I can tolerate other shoes if I can feel some kind of barrier between my foot and concrete. For these boots, you might need to enhance that barrier, but it can be done and you'll look great.

Maybe I have fat toes, but I have trouble fitting my forefoot into a lot of shoes. I don't have particularly wide feet, but based on the reviews, I ordered a wide width in these shoes. Alas and alack, they pinched right across the front of my foot. Not too uncomfortable, but I could tell that they would kill after a few hours. And as for a wide calf, I was looking for a stylish flat boot that I can tuck jeans into. These do zip up over my admittedly large calves, but there's not enough room to fit a layer of denim. Oh well.

Didn't make me feel stable...
The heel doesn't have traction and didn't make me feel stable. On tile flooring, I was sliding. Front of sole was great. Heel needing something... Wide calf was too wide for me. Wore these once and want to return them. Bad ankle support.

Stylish with a great fit -
I discovered Trotters when I was looking for a navy size 11.5 shoe and this cute crisscross maryjane came up so I ordered it. It fit perfectly! So when I was looking for a boot that I could wear to the office, I thought of Trotters again and lo and behold these boots fit perfectly and are quite stylish. Love 'em!

Works for the price.
After many-many exchanges on Zappos (thanks Zappos!), I finally found a boot that worked for my calf and did not look like something a fat female prison guard in Siberia would wear. The toe is pretty, but a bit tight, it's fine for normal city wear, but would not go hiking in it. I put an arch and heel support insert in, for more comfort (I walk a lot). It feels warm contrary to the thin material. I wish it could be a little more tapered in the ankle. Overall I am pleased, the leather is pretty good quality for the price.

Trotters Audry best I could find -
Finally found a dress boot with a low heel. I have a lot of trouble with my feet/low back so wear mostly my MBTs. The heel and ankle area of this boot has too much room, had to purchase a heel insert & that also helped with arch. Didn't have room in the sole area for a full insert, but would have liked to have more padding under the ball of my feet. My arches are high. I ordered these boots on a Thursday in early December and received the boots via UPS the following Monday! That is excellent service! This was even in the pre-Christmas season. This has to be the BEST service.

All day comfort -
These fit right out of the box. Being a guy, my calves are muscular, but not fat, so it can be difficult to find a boot that fits my 12W foot without the calf being too big. These are comfortable to wear and walk in, not to mention they look great.

Cute but not so comfy -
I like the appearance of the boot, and the calf part is very nice - fits my 16" calves comfortably, and the lining is nice enough that it doesn't irritate my skin if I wear shorter socks. However, the sole of it has absolutely no cushioning at all. I put a gel insert in that helped a tiny bit; I think I'm going to have to add another foam insole, because it feels like I am walking barefoot on concrete all the time.

I have worn trotters shoes/boots since I was 11 years old wearing a size 11 shoe. They have always been great fit and quality. Not as expected -
The foot part of the boot fits well but I found that the shaft was not really wide enough. It was difficult to get the zipper up the side of the boot and it really wasn't comfortable. I returned them

 |  | I am a F.T. bar tender and am on my feet all night standing, walking and sometimes running! I work hard! I have had the same work shoes that I LOVE for about 10 years! I found your site through my daughter and found a pair of what I thought would be good work shoes. I saved my tips and months later made the order. I was ambivalent about spending so much money on SHOES but decided to just do it! They arrived yesterday morning! I wore them last night for the first time forgetting to bring a back up pair in case they hurt (new shoes and all). Well, I'm just sooooo happy to say that I LOVE them! My feet were just fine – ALL NIGHT! They were like wearing slippers w/ arch support. This morning I put my poor old tired out work shoes in the trash with no regrets! Your staff was SO kind and helpful over the phone and the promptness of delivery was amazing! Thank you so much!
