This shoe seemed a little tight for me so I ordered the next size up which was too big! I kept the first shoe and wear it and it does stretch a little but probably will not order Rockports again.

These shoes fit me well (8 Medium, true to size) and were very comfortable from the first moment. They are so soft, I\'m not sure how durable they will be, but I\'ll enjoy them in the mean time.

I purchased these shoes for work where I am on my feet all day. The shoes required no breaking in period. I ordered them wide since apparently I am developing bunions and did not want to aggravate the problem. The seam is high enough not to rub or cause pressure. Result: comfort all day.

Wow! These shoes are terrific. They are comfortable and look good. I bought them in black and in brandy. I don't think you can go wrong with them. Zappos service is wonderful!

The shoes arrived very quickly. I love them and wear them everyday to work. The process to order and selection of shoes is exception. It\'s nice to be able to shop from the comfort of your home. I could not find this shoe in the stores. I went to Easy Spirt, Belks, Sears and nobody had a simply loafer. That\'s Zappo\'s You Rock!

I have not worn these shoes yet. They are for this winter. I have, however, worn them a little inside the house and they are very comfortable. The fit is a little wide, but I have to use an insert in my shoe so it works out perfectly. As for Zappos, top notch!

Great shoe! It's really cushioned and I like the fact that it comes in a narrow width. I bought an 8.5 but I wanted just a little more wiggle room in the toe. My sister liked the shoe so I gave the 8.5 to her and I'll get a 9. Again, comfortable shoe. I ordered the Hush Puppies in pretty much the same style, but the Rockport was WAY MORE CUSHY!

True to Rockport fame, these shoes are great! Comfy, soft leather, and true to size. The only caution is the sole. It is not as firm a sole as I would have hoped for. I prefer a less flexible sole for better support. As a result, these will not become my go-to shoes, but the shoes I wear for short-time, low walking events.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I have a pair of Cole Haan that look identical, but have solid sole that I love - but my dog loves them, too, and they are full of teeth marks!

Very comfortable walking shoe -
I liked these shoes so much that I ordered them in another color. I have wide feet and a high instep. In addition, many shoes hit the bone at the side of my foot just before my big toe, but not this one. These shoes have a roomy toe box and are nice, soft leather. The sole is cushioned, which adds to the comfort. The 8W fit perfectly, when often I need an 8 1/2. It is a decent looking loafer, not at all clunky.

This style of Rockport is the perfect casual shoe with jeans, or slacks. Very comfortable and classic.

Fanned out on sides -
Really nice construction, leather, color but on my feet, when I bent them to walk the sides stuck out. Fit fine in the front, but I think that means they are way too wide on the side. The leather is nice and supple though.

Just What I Wanted!
The shoe above is just wonderful. I have a really bad back and this shoe is so comfortable to wear that it helps my back. I am really pleased with Zappos. I don't buy shoes anywhere else now.

I wear a narrow and find only a couple of brands work for me, Naturalizer and once in a while Hush Puppies. I've been looking for a plain brown or tan loafer and found these Rockports. I gave them a try but just like another pair I bought a couple of years ago, these were also too wide. What a shame as I love the looks of this loafer. They also felt very comfortable but just a little too wide. I'm in the process of returning these and hope I will come across another brand similar.

Hope a smaller size fits - I really like the look of these shoes. They seemed at least a half size too big. They do gap at the sides. I am ordering a smaller size. Hope they fit. Love the service of Zappos. I have ordered at least 40 pairs of shoes and kept 10 or 11. Easy to find a good fit with the selection and return po1icy.

Insole is not (easily) removable -
Contrary to the description, the insole is not removable. Well, I suppose you could get it out if you tried really hard, but it is partially glued down and is not coming out in one piece. I was expecting to remove the insole to accommodate orthotics. I didn't want to have to destroy the insole to get it out to see if it would work with orthotics, so these are going back. Otherwise, the shoe didn't fit quite right. It felt strangely too tight around the toes, yet there was a gap between the shoe and the top of my foot. The insole is very cushiony, so I would imagine it would be comfortable if it fit the shape of your foot and you didn't need orthotics.

Gapping Sides -
Shoes are true to size and very comfortable... but the sides are too soft this causes them to gap open as you walk, should be stronger support in that area. I am returning these shoes because of the gapping sides otherwise I would've kept them. Thank you Zappos...I love your next day service.

Put them on and go! I saw and ordered this shoe immediately. It arrived the afternoon before I left for a trip to the East Coast. When I first put them on, I felt like I was stepping into pillows so I took them with me. I walked around Washington D.C., for 4 days, 5 hours a day, (in 90 degree weather)wearing only this shoe. Heavenly! This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had on my foot and I HIGHLY recommend them.

Goodie Two Shoes -
The Rockport Cushner is one of my favorite flats/loafers. It's light, great for walking and shopping. It looks good with jeans and skirts. It's inexpensive but does not look cheap. I have a couple of pairs. The colors are nice, too.

Finally a comfortable Wide flat under $200!
This shoe is really great! It fits my wide feet, does not rub on the edges, soft leather feels like a glove, and cushioned insole for a full day of walking! Did I forget anything? Oh, yes...it looks cute too! I only wish they had more color choices. I got the off-white and I imagine the shoe looks cuter and more youthful in this color than in the other two.
In some brands I wear 10 and in others 10.5 and Rockport is one of the former. Some of you might find it just a little bit large.

Shoe not as nice looking as pictured. The beige color is very plain and actually a little ugly. I plan on adding a shoe ornament across the vamp to make it more attractive.

Too big/not real narrow -
Disappointed in the size. Did not fit as I normally wear a 7.5N in most shoes. This is at least a 1/2 size too big and wide (even though it is a narrow). I would suggest ordering a half size smaller than normal.
