These are great shoes! I had to have comfortable shoes after my bunion surgery/removal and these fit the bill. The physical therapist said they were great shoes. The heel took about a week to become comfortable/broken in, but now I absolutely love them! If it weren’t for my husband being a f/t seminary student, I\'d buy 5 more pairs! Love Zappos!!!

Bigger than expected -
I like the look and feel of the shoe but it feels larger than the marked size and wider than the marked size. Also, the heel slips very badly. I am making do with this shoe as is because I needed to wear it right away but I would like to get a different size. I will order this shoe again but I will order it in a smaller size and width.

Plenty of room -
I have 2 different feet because of JRA and a bunion. This brand offers different insole options and the EE is roomy and comfortable for a full day on my feet. It looks nice enough not to be orthopedic.

The shoe is fine in width to accommodate a bunion, however the strap across the top is a killer for a hammer toe.

Shoes fit great - true to size. However, this is a "stylin" shoe, not a true wear to work or walking shoe. The design of the sole easily wobbles on uneven sidewalk or terrain, making the foot topple out of the shoe. Both times, the undersole binding for the toe broke loose, requiring replacement of the shoe or full sole repair. Otherwise, I love Donald Pliner shoes - I just will not get this wedge design.

Excellent shoe -
I work in a warehouse, and wanted a shoe that was both safe around pallets and non-skid for carrying and lifting, but were dressy enough to go to corporate offices for meetings with management. I've been wearing these to work 2-3 times a week for about three weeks now. The style looks great on my wide feet and dresses up my slacks outfits, and the 10EE is plenty wide without making me feel like my foot is swimming in the shoe (I normally wear a 41 regula in Birkenstocks). I often have the problem with shoes coming up too high on the heel, but these do not have that problem. The heel slipped a bit when the shoes were breaking in, but now they don't slip much at all. The leather is a bit stiff and the shoe took a while to break in - I still feel like it's got a ways to go before they're truly broken in. The only complaint I have about the fit is that the arch supports are very weak. I've recently bought some heel pain orthotics (I have plantar fasciitis in my left heel) and plan on giving these a go in the shoe.

My search is over!
I have searched for a really long time to find an attractive shoe that I can wear to work. I have extremely hard to fit feet, short and really, really wide. This shoe is very comfortable and really nice looking. I don't feel like I am wearing grandma shoes. Yeah! Thanks Zappos for having a great selection of nice shoes for extra wide feet.

Good Quality -
It's obvious this shoe is well made and built for comfort. It's also somewhat attractive for a therapeutic type shoe and still manages to be fashionable. However, this shoe did not work for me as it narrows too much in the toe.

Didn’t fit -
I so much wanted this to work. So far I have ordered 15 pairs of shoes and sent back 13. These slipped at the heel too much. So I sent them back. I liked the way they looked but I've always been advised never to wear shoes that slip. These shoes are sized generously and otherwise very comfortable.
