I agree with other reviewers: Not a good fit for orthotics. The toe box is too shallow, making the top of the shoe too tight. Even so, the heel is a little loose, so I don't think a bigger size would fit. Appearance is good. It's very hard to find nice-looking sandals that will accommodate big orthotics. However, I'm returning this pair. For a better fit, I'd recommend the Drew Desiree. It has a deeper toe box and the heel is not as loose. As always, great service and fast shipping from Zappos.

Really cute shoes, but I agree with other reviewers that they are not deep enough to accommodate orthotics. Seemed to run small in length and width compared to other Drew shoes.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Don't give up on Drew; most of their shoes are really helpful for those with serious foot issues.

Great all-around shoe that fits my weird feet which are long and wide, have "knobs" here and there due to surgery + arthritis, and, of course, are VERY hard to fit. This is my second pair. Usually I get size 12 but it was too long; I returned the 12 and 11 did the trick. I had to use a shoe adjuster on the left side of the left shoe because of a knob but all is OK now. Because of hammer toes I can't use an orthotic; the shoes aren't deep enough.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: This one is A-OK so no other.

Not comfortable or flexible shoe -
I thought these shoes would be flexible, with soft leather and a cushioned interior. They are in fact pretty stiff, and the interior was supposed to be deep enough to accommodate an orthotic, which they are not. They are attractive looking, but would require a break-in period, and even then I don't know if they would be considered comfortable. Regretfully I will return them and probably not try any Drew brand shoes again. The search for a comfortable WIDE WIDTH shoe continues...

Drew's Amelia and work.
I work at a casino and walk for 8 hours. The Amelia shoe is very stylish and comfortable. However, if the sole were thicker, I think the shoe would be comfortable for that long a time. My feet never hurt, but my legs get tired when I wear them to work.

This shoe is supposed to have two removable insoles to custom fit orthotics. Only one of the insoles is removable; the other is sewn and/or glued in. They didn't work for me.
