I've been looking for a mule-type shoe for my wide foot. The shoes were way too long for some reason. The insole was very comfortable, though. Another drawback, these shoes left a bunch of skid marks on my kitchen floor. I thought of trying a half size larger, but they would have been longer, also. I'll keep trying. I love Zappos. This company is awesome!

For what it’s worth, I chose these shoes because I have trouble finding shoes that are not too tight across the top of my foot. I ordered a 6WW (2E) and still, they are too tight across the top. They are good leather so I am going to take them to a leather craftsman and have them stretched as I am sick of looking for a shoe like this that fits. Without the 2nd insole, they fit fine, but have no cushion or support that way. Why, oh why does all the shoe manufacturers think that everybody has needle thin feet? UGH!!! They do measure half size too long. I am 5’4” @ 150 lbs. It’s not that I have big feet, just high insteps.

Very comfortable work shoes -
Love these shoes. I have them on RIGHT now. I wear them with jeans, chinos, or shorts. Very easy break in. LOVE THEM...

They look great with jeans but need worn a little at a time until they get broke in. They are a little narrow across the top of the foot. I am not giving up I really do like the shoe.

Slippery Sole -
Although the shoe itself was comfortable enough for my hard to fit post polio feet to wear (minus the insole)-I found the slippery hard sole on these too risky to wear-I am very sensitive to that though-Reluctantly returning

These shoes are very soft and comfortable. I have very bad feet so it is hard to find some comfortable ones, but these are and the support is great. I mostly wear them to church or to dress up.

NARROW, NARROW!!!
Well made, quality shoe, BUT! I never actually got my foot IN the shoe. I wear 9.5 EE and the WW width was narrow. When I opened the package, the box was a little beat and the buckle was undone. I figure several other people had tried this shoe on and sent it back. So if you wear a medium width or narrower, this will be a great shoe for you. If you have a truly wide foot with bones in it, you will not like this shoe.
