This is my favorite Birkenstock. I bought a second pair exactly the same, I wore the first one so much. It is extremely comfortable and stylish to boot. I have a morton's neuroma so Birkenstocks are my go to choice when I can get away with it, which is all summer and winter at home. I am still waiting to find a red one my size.

I love these, however, order a full size smaller than you are. I am a standard 6 1/2, and I ordered the 37s and they are huge! Bummer, but I wi'll get it right next time!

I got these shoes about a year ago and overall I like them. The arch support is great and they're not bulky at all. They look stylishly casual with shorts, skirts, summery dresses and jeans. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them! I do have a few problems with them, however. They're probably not the best Birkenstocks for walking around because they don't stay on your feet very well. I kind of wish I had gotten the Mayari (with the extra foot strap) instead. I also wish I had understood Birkenstock sizing better when I bought these, because I bought them to fit my feet when they were new. As you break Birkenstocks in, the cork changes and moves/scrunches in a bit to conform better to your foot. For that reason, I think it's a really good idea to get a size bigger than you'd normally get (or go try on some Birks in a store to get an idea), because once I broke my normal size in, they became a little small. Also, the toe strap sometimes rubs on my big toe too much if I walk a lot.

Birkenstock is a quality brand that can be purchased in many places; however, they do not stock large narrow sizes. It was easy and a pleasure to do business with Zappos, quality products and speedy delivery.

Too flippy-floppy - Lots of reviews on this sandal, all of them favorable. However, I didn't keep these shoes as I felt like my foot was barely attached to the shoe at all. When walking, these sandals are very flippy-floppy. I ultimately was worried the suede would stretch and the things wouldn't stay on my feet. I do have a "low volume" foot, so you might not have that problem. Like one of the earlier reviewers, I recommend ordering a full size smaller than you would usually.

I love these shoes so much that I bought a 2nd pair so that I've got a back up. I have worn these all summer, including walking all over Europe. No blisters, no aching feet. They are a really great looking shoe. They also are holding up extremely well.

I love the look of these Birkenstocks-- and they're very comfortable. Great arch support. My legs and feet have to work a little harder wearing these-- but it's worth it. Nice look from Birkenstock. Thanks Zappos!

These are very comfy shoes, and I really appreciate that the straps don't rub and give me blisters like most. If you have a high arch these are nice too because they have good support. They fit perfectly and wear in really nicely. However, these are not the kind of shoes you'd want to run somewhere in; they act similar to flip-flops but a little bit looser because they don't have a heel strap. If you're going to walk around Disneyland for eight hours, you might want a shoe with a few more straps.

Love these shoes!
I love these shoes! I had previously owned a pair of Birkenstocks but they were too wide and looked clunky. This style came in a narrow width that fit my foot perfectly. They have more of a feminine style than other Birkenstocks. If you have narrow, dainty feet, order these in the narrow width and I think you will love them as I do.

I love the look of this sandal and the silky feel of the footbed. I wear orthotics in my other shoes now, but have found that Birkenstocks can be a substitute. When I wear the orthotics during the day, it is a great comfort to put Birks on for casual evening wear, as well. I have been shopping with Zappos for several years now and continue to be impressed with this company!

I got these, like many other reviewers, to use as a primary shoe on a long vacation. I wore these and a pair of Chacos pretty much the entire time I was backpacking in Europe for six weeks. I developed golfer's vasculitis suddenly, which caused my feet to swell uncomfortably when standing for long periods of time (which was pretty much every day), and these shoes actually kept my feet comfortable and supported. They are also extraordinarily waterproof without looking like a heavy-duty hiking boot. Although they aren't the cutest running style shoe, they didn't look silly with jeans or shorts like a boot would have. I feel that these shoes run a little small, as I bought an 8.5 when I usually wear a 7.5 or 8. I was anticipating at least some foot swelling, and I wore thick hiking socks the whole time, so that factored into my decision to buy larger. I do think that despite these circumstances, the shoe does run small. Unfortunately, since my foot swelling issues in Europe, they have stretched out, and they are now too big for everyday wear, but I still throw them on with thick socks in bad rain. The Vibram outsole does well on wet gravel/sidewalks, but is unsuitable for any sort of ice.

Who says the Piazza is for ladies only -
My wife wrote a review about her Piazza sandals. After I bought her the pair, the girl in the shop said they would look great on my foot as I have a very high arch, so I tried on a pair in black. I wear a 42 regular width and they fit perfect. My wife bought them for me. I have worn them several times and have received many compliments. The fit well and slip on & off very easy. Super comfortable. I love the very low straps and how they keep your foot in place. The straps have stretched a bit but they can be tightened for a snug fit. A really unique style. Who says they are only for ladies??

Walking in these shoes -
I am a college student and I have to walk a lot throughout the day. I bought these shoes for the support and because they are so cute. The first time I put them on, I felt one was too big. So I ordered a smaller pair. But as I wore them, my foot fell into place and they did not seem as if they were big anymore. My first day walking in them was painful, but they are so cute I walked through it. I am confident that my continuous wear of the Birkenstocks will soften the shoe.

These Birkenstock Piazza sandals are fantastic...
My husband treated me to a new pair of Birkenstock sandals after my well worn flip-flops broke. I was attracted to the Piazza style because it was very open and had just 2 very skinny straps. Well... after wearing them every day for the past week, my feet never felt better. They were snug at first but are now very loose and comfortable. They do make loud slapping sounds as I walk but that's the great thing about Birkenstocks. These are the best Birkenstock's I've ever owned. I just went out and got a pair for my husband. I think they will look great on him. Let's see what he thinks. Should be fun wearing them together. Too bad the cold weather is just around the corner.

Great look and even better support!
I got this sandal to replace my flip-flops that I was wearing to walk around town. I needed more support and decided to try this sandal. If you are looking for the flip-flop look but need foot support than this is for you. It looks great on and I've gotten many compliments. Well made and stays on your foot well. Be sure to go down a size because they do run big.

I was a little disappointed because they aren't as comfy as my other Birks. I like them because they are really wide and great if you are pregnant! Just wish they were a little more comfy.

Finally!
A pair of Birks made for femme feet! These are my first pair of Birks and I absolutely love them. I tried one other style a few years back and they were so clunky and huge, I sent them back. These are comfy and so cute. The straps are barely there, they flop a lot and I love them that way. I would especially recommend these for people like me, those who have very slender feet.

Cute but very flippy and floppy - These shoes are very simple but cute. Probably cuter in the picture than when wearing. I like simple flips but this was very basic. The flip is a little hard to walk in but not impossible. The shoe basically stays on because of your big toe. Birks are known for having a heavy sole. If you can stand the flopping, this shoe will work for you. Felt true to size and it was comfortable but felt a little weird at first because of the big toe being all tied up.

Cute, but these were too long. I felt like they were either a half to a full size too long at the back of the shoe. I have had other Birks and bought size 38 and they fit fine. I do love the cute and thin straps on these that go around the big toe, but they weren't entirely comfortable to walk in. Not paying this amount for shoes I can't walk the length of the San Diego Zoo in! I think the size 37 might be too small, but I am going to try it anyway because I think they are so cute.

Good old Birkenstock -
I am really enjoying these shoes. They have become my everyday sandal. I know that some of the other reviews have mentioned the "flop" of the shoe and that is true, but it doesn't bother me at all. They are a bit more like flip-flops, but WAY cuter and not as casual. Only slight prob I've had is the footbed at the toes. The raised part neat my pinky toe hits me in a funny spot sometimes and can be uncomfortable, but I adjust my foot and keep on truckin’. I'm so happy to be back in the comfort that Birkenstock gives me. YAY!

Super comfy - I never thought I would wear Birkenstock…they were "hippie" shoes. Now that they are so much more stylish, I can't live without them! They are so much more comfortable than traditional flat flip flops. My plantar fasciitis is almost resolved thanks to these shoes!

Cute but Real 'Floppy'-
I love my Birkenstock Gizeh (color: Mocha) so much that I decided to go for this adorable number so that I could add a black pair of Birks to my collection. Sadly, I had a hard time keeping this sandal on because the straps sit close to the toes and you get a lot of 'flop'. Super cute, but not as good of fitting as the Gizeh. Time to check out the Cozumel!
