this is a very nice looking shoe however it is microscopic in size. I usually wear a size 10B. I literally could not get my foot into the shoe. I didn\'t even bother to exchange them for the next larger size because I doubt that they would have been large enough.

After trying some other brands of shoes/ankle boots of similar price/nature, I finally bought these shoes in black. Very pricey, yes. They seem to be well-made and my bet is that they will be worth the money in the long-haul because they look like they will last for quite some time. My first time to try Aquatalia and I'm pleased so far. Bought them for the rainy cold weather ahead and haven't had lots of chances yet to see how they truly hold up to the weather. They are attractive and comfortable for daily wear thus far into the season. Worn them a few times in rain with no color bleeding nor anything bad to say. Gotten compliments on them, too.

I was skeptical about this shoe at first. This is my first pair of pricey shoes. The fit is snug, as if in a fine glove, not constricting. Wore these on a trip to San Francisco, great walking shoe and so much more stylish than a running shoe! Great with jeans or slacks. Love the slight heel to them as I am short and my jeans won\'t drag on the ground. Comfort and style together at last! All of my cheap, uncomfortable shoes are out!

Zappos is by far the best company I have found online. I almost always find beautiful couture shoes in my size and if by chance they don't fit, there is no shipping charge either way. They always arrive quickly and neatly and our entire family (men and women) buy from Zappos.

These shoes run a bit narrow-and are not the most comfortable. If you have wider feet I would recommend J. Pilner instead. I tripped in these shoes (over a print cartridge in the office-long story). I think if I were wearing more stable in these shoes I would have not flown in the air and landed hard on my knee causing some nerve damage (healed after 3 months). The sides are a bit hard. Not the most comfortable shoe.

I wore these shoes the day I got them for 10 hours- on a plane and then walking all round NYC and they were absolutely comfortable from the start. I like that they are water resistant but also are very stylish. I have worn Aquatalias for many years and they never disappoint. They are comfortable as a sneaker but are sleek. Looking forward to seeing new styles all the time. Sizing was exactly what I usually take.

The perfect travel shoe -
I wore these shoes while sight-seeing in Washington, DC last weekend and they were comfortable the entire time. They stood up well to three days of intensive walking. They do fit a bit snug, but the only time I found it to be a problem was while flying (trying to put them back on after a long flight). I'm glad I found Aquatalia... they're pricey but so worth it!

Still the best - with reservations -
Finally replaced my decade-old all-weather Aquatalia's with this shoe. A big investment for me. A couple of drawbacks... The fit is VERY snug. You must wear thin socks. So, in a quite cold climate, your feet will be cold. And if you are an impatient shoes-on-and-off person, you may be impatient with these. You must wiggle a bit to get them on, since the instep is quite high. In my opinion, they do not pass the ultimate test...Can you walk about all day long in Manhattan. I did, and my left little toe was uncomfortably rubbed. So, I would say the shoe is an elegant, all-weather wear-to-work with trouser-jeans and pants shoe, assuming you don't have to walk a long way through extreme weather to get to your place of employment. All in all, I'm happy I bought them, but I'd still want a version of my more rough and tumble old shoes for warmth and serious walking.

Great Looking shoe -
I bought two pairs of these shoes. I must do a lot of walking at work but still look business casual. Shoes are quite attractive and very comfortable. I have a very high instep and appreciate the adjustable top buckle.

Great for all-weather days -
My very first pair of Aquatalia and so far so good. Bought them for my European trip coming up and have been wearing them just about every other day to see how they'll perform on the days where I have to walk miles and miles at the time. Very comfortable shoes. Nice support. Looks good with jeans or black pants. And Zappos always SUPER!!!! Thank you.

Perfect for rainy weather comfort -
These are great shoes for walking around a rainy city (like Seattle). They are comfortable and cute, not super stylish, but cute with jeans on a casual day. Great for travel to rainy climates.

The Perfect Winter Shoe -
When I first tried on this beautiful winterized shoe, I was in heaven. I have issues with Arthritis in my feet as well as my knees. It's almost impossible to find an attractive and comfortable shoe that works well in the snow/winter conditions we have in Spokane, Wa. It's not too high and the suede is pliable enough to give my toes the room they need to move because they do fall asleep if constricted. I absolutely love this shoe! So I got it in black too. Zappos is great in the free shipping and timely delivery. Thanks so much for making mine a great shopping experience. My toes thank you too!!...

Everything you ever needed in a shoe!
I checked out these shoes mainly for how they looked. I needed a comfortable shoe I could wear all day at work and looked good. I tried them on and they were really comfortable. I'd been looking at other shoes, so had to try those on before purchasing any. These fit better than any of them. The first day I wore them I forgot they were new. They felt so comfortable. And they look great! But the added bonus is they're weatherproof! They can be worn in the rain. Yes, they're black suede, but Aquatalia shoes are pretreated, double sealed seams and work in rain as well as my waterproof Merrels. These are the best.
Only one complaint. I can't seem to find my size (5) in any other color or shoe. They have boots, but the shoes are not only limited in that size, but difficult to find. I have to contact New York to see if I can get others. But if they have your size, check them out. These are really terrific!

Soft and comfy -
Slipped these on and my feet said "Aaah". Uppers are lightly lined and will be warm and toasty. Look flattering on my size 9 feet. Great shoes.
