These shoes are well constructed and true to size. They offer good stability, but don’t have much insole padding. I added some Superfeet Premium Green insoles and now they fit like a dream. I wear them every day on rough pavement and no longer have back pain at the end of the day.

I had these shoes on my feet less than 24 hours after ordering them! And I never requested priority handling or shipping. I worried they might be too narrow to wear with heavy socks, but that was not the case. I walk 3-5 miles in them every day and they are very comfortable and good looking.

I have never had a bad New Balance shoe so when my old (and I do mean Old) bit the bullet I went looking for a pair of new ones.\\r\\nThese are lightweight yet tough and cool looking too.\\r\\nThey were comfortable from day one.\\r\\nNext time I will order the next width but only because my feet need alittle more space as I mature.

Best Shoes EVER!!
These shoes are so comfortable that I can actually wear them all day long. I'm not one to have my feet closed in, these shoes do not make my feet feel hot and they do not seem to retain water like most shoes do. I also love the way they look!!

I bought these shoes for a 10 hiking trip through New Zealand, and they fit the bill. Perfect price, perfect fit (if you like the fit of New Balances, which I do very much). They were comfortable right out of the box, no blisters or anything. Also, they're a fantastic hybrid between sneaker and hiker--so it's not too heavy, or heavy-duty. I have big feet (10.5s) so I while I'd love to be able to wear Keens or Simple, and the like, those just look too ugly and broad on me--as if I'd just stuck my foot in the shoe box itself and called it a day. These had a just-right profile, which was a little bigger than sneakers but nothing like the broader based sneaker/hikers that are in vogue now. And, as always, you get New Balance quality for a pretty much unbeatable price. Add this with Zappos' amazing shipping and customer service, and you're set to go!

Awesome shoe -
I needed something comfortable to wear everyday and this shoe is perfect. It is very cute and very light. It is true to size and width. I am a size 8.5 and ordered a 8.5 and it fits perfect. This will be my summer shoe in the 100+ degree environment I am currently in.

I love these shoes! Size was true to fit. They are warm. Provide great support. I wear with GoodFeet shoe supports and they work very well with this shoe. Service and shipping from Zappos is the best on the web.

Odd fit -
I like the look of this shoe and have always been pleased with the fit of the New Balance. Normally in New Balance I wear an 8.5 D (wide) shoe. This is half a size larger than I wear in other show brands. This shoe had a really odd fit---normally the New Balance has a lot of room in the front of the shoes. Plenty of room for my toes to wiggle and plenty of room surrounding the sides of the ball of my foot. I found the front of the shoe a little narrower than the usual New Balance, though the length was maybe a smidgen too long. I might have kept the shoe except that the heel was waaayyy too wide. Wide enough that as I walked around, the backs of my feet were coming halfway out of my shoe. I tried to tighten the laces to bring in the sides of the heel, but this made the front of the shoe too tight. So how do you rate a shoe that is too narrow in the front and too loose in the heel? It's not true to size, but none of the rankings make sense for this shoe. I think that a size smaller would have been much too short in the toes and definitely not wide enough. It was just an odd fit.

I suffer from lots of heel pain, New Balance was recommended by lots of friends. I tried them and have had little heel problems since.

Great service ZAPPOS! Got these really FAST and I LOVE them. They are soooo comfortable...I've been wearing them almost everyday when I wear jeans. Normally I rarely wear a sneaker type shoe but I love the look of these.

Perfect wide width shoe -
This shoe gives you wide width (if you order it). I put it on and immediately it felt comfortable like I had worn it for months. There is plenty of give; yet you can keep it tight with the shoelaces. A great shoe!

Nice -
Very comfortable and very light. Goes from light trails to sidewalks smoothly. Not the prettiest shoe I've ever worn but appropriate for the type of activities it is intended for.

I Can Walk Better!
I take walks in the Colorado Mountains. Since having these shoes, I am steady on my feet when walking over rough ground, up and down slopes, and over loose gravel. I have some neuropathy in my feet and degeneration. I am comfortable and secure in these shoes. I am so thankful to be able to walk better.

Trail Comfort and Support -
These shoes are good for the cost. With a bad back and neuropathy in lower legs and feet, I need something that is wide and tall enough to allow toe space and orthotics. These work just fine in that arena and they are also comfortable, supportive shoes. I haven't used them that much yet, but so far so good.
