Great shoes for any occasion!
I actually ordered the wrong shoe. I meant to order the same shoe but with the open toe (Carma OT). I kept these, even though for me they were a little conservative looking, and did order the open toe one too. Crazy I know. I also have them in black calf leather. The Nike Air in these shoes makes them feel like walking on clouds and I think the addition of the Nike Air makes them feel a half size smaller.
I am normally an 8 or an 8-1/2 in closed pumps and I do have a wide right foot, left is normal. I ordered the 8-1/2C width and at first even the so-called wide shoe felt tight but after wearing it for a little while it adapted perfectly to my foot and they were by far the most comfortable heels I've ever worn. I have bad feet and most shoes kill me....you know, comfortable in store, and killers at home! I will continue to buy the Cole Haan but definitely a half size up from my normal 8's and a wide width if available. In fact, I bought a sling back from them in a regular width and I needed a 9, first time I ever bought that size too. I am inclined to say that Cole Haan shoes run a half size smaller than what you'd normally wear, at least it's my experience.

Very comfortable...
I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. You can definitely tell there's a platform bottom--it took me a little bit of time to get used to the feel. The heel is just the right height for me. I highly recommend.

Not that comfortable -
I bought these shoes because my boyfriend has some Nike Air shoes that he loves and I thought it would be great to fight the foot fatigue brought on by high heels. Unfortunately these are not that comfortable. Because there is zero arch support and the heel is pretty high, all of your weight is thrust into your toes. No matter how much cushion is down there, it isn't going to help. The style is a little masculine, too - not quite as nice as in the picture.

I thought the padding in the shoe was very comfortable, but they still really pinched my toes. I thought they were too expensive for something I could barely walk in, so I returned them.

Not a true narrow -
Sadly, back they go. A gorgeous shoe, but it really isn't a narrow. The heel is too wide, causing the foot to slide forward and pinch.

Although they are comfortably padded, the leather on the front creased after one wearing. For being a high heel, they are pretty comfortable.

Cute shoe maybe not for narrow -
I have been wanting to try Cole Haan in a narrow to see if they would fit for some time now. The CH stores ironically typically don't carry the narrows! Zappos of course does. With this style, the AA just wasn't narrow enough for me (my foot is really an AAA). The length fit true to size however: I am a 7 and the 7 was the right length. However, it was not narrow enough in the heel. Attractive shoe however. Perfect for the office and with suits/skirts.

Nice looking, but not worth the money -
The cushioning under the ball of the foot is very comfortable, but I found that the shoe was still uncomfortable, because the shape of the toe box caused a lot of rubbing and blistering along the knuckle of my big toe, and this was not with extensive walking at all!

I usually wear an 11M, sometimes an 11W. This shoe was too narrow and too short for me. There was a good deal of support, though, and the shoe itself is beautiful and well-made.

Amazingly well made and extremely comfortable even w/bunions -
The toe box is stylish; the fit is glove-like. I have bunions and don't find many heels comfortable so this was surprising to me.
If you are accustomed to wearing heels these feel like slippers. If you aren't used to wearing high heels they will feel high, but comfortable on your foot.
Note: This shoe has a low 'profile' - what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't come up high around the heel, the sides or at the toes. You will see 'toe cleavage'. I think it may be the reason why I was unable to keep the shoe on my feet even though it felt very comfortable.

I really love this shoe. I have it in black patent and black calf. I usually have a hard time walking in heels, and these are a dream! Great support, comfortable, functional. I highly recommend. Of course, thanks Zappos! I only purchase shoes from your site!

For the work place, this classic has usual stellar CH craftsmanship, appropriate toebox and gel sole-got a lot of compliments. I bought 3 pairs in different colors. Occasionally they remind me that they are 3 1/2 in heel at the 6-hr mark of my day with achy toes but they will span several seasons. Could not find as simple and classic a black pump as this season and I did my investigating both in stores and on-line!

This shoe is relatively comfortable for a high heel pump. The square toe gives a little more toe room than pointed dressier styles and the platform does give the sense that the heel is not so high. I have a wide foot, high instep and a bunion on one side and the wide width is fine (but not excessively roomy - the shoe fits snugly which may be uncomfortable for some). The length is very slightly short for size. I probably wouldn't wear these for extended periods standing or walking because of the heel height. The workmanship and materials are gorgeous. Love those shoe bags for storage!

1/2 sz too small, but great shoe!
I have a narrow heel/regular foot, but a true size 9 in most shoes and these in a 9.5 seem to do the trick - glide, not walk through any airport terminal and do not fear standing in long lines with these shoes. The padding adds power to your stride!!! It does not seem like a 3 inch heel at all and keeps your body very balanced every step of the way. Highly recommended. Otherwise, try Helle comfort, but they do not make a classy pump like this one!

This pair of pumps are the best shoes I ever bought. With the Nike Air inside the bottom of the shoe it is like walking on air. You don't even feel like you are wearing a 3 ¼ heel.

This shoe isn't actually uncomfortable to me, as some of the reviews say; I think it just runs too small. Am not sure if this is just the particular style or the Cole Haan brand, but definitely order up rather than down in size. The style looks a bit mum-sy, very conservative looking. And the Champagne color looks a tad more grayish than it looks online.

This is a GORGEOUS shoe. Any age woman can wear this. I found that it felt very narrow. The heel is high, but not so high that it would be uncomfortable. Zappos is GREAT. I got to try it on for free without leaving my home. May order the wide size and see if it is a better fit for me.

LOVE IT!!
This shoe is the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever owned! I am used to wearing flip flops all summer and my Justin boots in the Winter and I hate wearing dress shoes until this one came along! Well worth the $$!! I love Zappos too! I ordered at 11:45 PM EST and they were waiting in the office for me the next morning by 10:00am. Incredible service when using UPS. Not so good with FedEx!

Beautiful shoe -
I love the look of the shoe but was a little disappointed with comfort. The pumps' inner sole seats very high so the foot gets
squished early into it. My foot is a 5 1/2 and slender, but when my daughter who has a chunkier size 6 tried them on, there was no way her foot would go into the shoe. I also own Cole Haan Air Pump sandals which are extremely comfortable and I was hoping the pumps would be as comfortable. Yet I will keep these pumps for the classic look and likelihood of not wearing them for long periods of time.

Terribly uncomfortable!
This must be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought. It seemed okay to try out, but absolutely uncomfortable to walk on for a longer distance. Obviously it is difficult to return this shoe after one has used it.

Cute for the office and the cocktail lounge!
These are very comfortable and work well for both work (with nude hose) and play (with opaque tights or leggings). The platform detail in combination with the square toe makes them work well for a younger person employed at a conservative office. I particularly like the fact that the heel is stacked wood, not covered in leather; this makes for easier repairs as I tend to scuff my heels up. As I usually do with heels, I went up 1/2 size.

My New Favorite -
These heels are amazingly comfortable. I can wear them all day and don't feel the need to change them immediately on my return home from work. The Nike Air Technology makes wearing high heels comfortable again and I find myself reaching for these constantly, even though at 3", they are higher than I would normally wear. I like the slightly squared off toe and would recommend this shoe to everyone.

Walk on Air (Nike)!
This shoe has "Air Nike" technology in it (but no visible swoosh) :) and is downright amazing. It is the most comfortable heel I have ever worn. I could live in these shoes, and I have heel spurs! I have bought other high-end heels before in the $250-300 range and none of them hold a candle to this shoe, comfort-wise. The only downside: the styling is a bit dowdy.
