Definitely needed one full size smaller than normal. It is a comfortable shoe, but my foot is thinner and I barely fill in the shoe all around. Room for fatter feet and elastic should help fat feet, too.

The shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Only issue was that it runs really big. I usually wear a 10.5, but when I got the shoe, it measured 13 inches. So I dropped down to a 9.5 and it fits like a glove.

And airport friendly!!
Shoes are very comfortable, almost like slippers. Ample support given by plenty of rubber in the sole. No metal shank to set off airport detectors. I'm an airline pilot, so that is important to me...I can now go thru without taking off my shoes.

 |  | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it!
